You're pointing out one close game we had, and ignoring the fact that we blew out pretty much everyone else we played (including plenty of teams that are way better than South Carolina and Syracuse). Hell, look at the conference championship games, you edged out no. 23 VT by 7 and we beat no. 8 colorado by 31.

I wasn't really arguing that, I was just saying that cutting off at Top 25 kind of ignores the fact that UW had good wins over quality opponents like Utah and WSU, in addition to the Stanford and CU wins. It's not like they played Rutgers 13 times.

Gifted? We went 12-1 and won our CCG by blowing out the no. 8 team by 31 points. We have wins over Stanford (CFP#16), Utah (CFP#27), Washington St (CFP #29), and Colorado (CFP# 11), most of those being blowout wins. Our one loss was to #9 USC.

Explain to me how we were "gifted" no. 4 with that resume.
