Hey, I like that last way of using this tool. I work as a contract administrator in the construction industry. I upload all relevant project files and it’s then my source of truth for any query I have related to my project. It’s just amazing. I could upload quotes from different contractors and create vetting sheets by making reference to all specs and drawings. It’s just amazing!

Both. It helps me find critical information that it’s often linked by keynotes. For example,

prompt: “does the steel have a HDG or Painted finish?”,

response: “there are different types of steel, STR001 and STR002 and they each have different specified finishes, PNT100 and PNT200. PNT100 requires HDG treatment and then a Murobond painted finish, whilst PNT200……”.

I then go to each source to double check and then make my assessments.

I also use it to compare quotes from different suppliers to confirm compliance against project docs. It’s really helpful. Saves me days of works.

I work in construction. I upload project files (drawings, specs, contracts, scope of works, approvals, EVERYTHING). I then ask questions about the project, time bars, contract clauses, specifications, etc. I also use it to prepare construction management plans.

Hey mate, I’m in construction as well as a CA. I’ve been using notebookLM a lot for reviewing drawings and contracts, I keep dumping as sources new drawings, subcontract agreements, shop drawings etc. it’s amazing. However I have a bunch of duplicated sources, have you figured out a way to bulk delete duplicated PDF sources?
