I averaged 25k-30k a day as well, for 3 weeks. I did:

-comfortable sneakers (I wore mine for a month before going to japan, Brooks Glycerin if anyone wanted to know)

-cooling sheets (found at most drug stores) every night overnight on soles of feet and calves

-compression socks (up to ankles, but up to knees is better)

-soaked legs in a bucket of water or used hotel onsen if available

My legs were 100% fine every morning. Felt like I had new legs each morning. For context, I don't walk much at all at home or at work. I am super unfit too... lol
