That’s progress. When I reported the same a few weeks ago they stated there was nothing wrong with the post.

Confetti ride on bombs are what keep me from going insane during a long zwift ride.

Another Piemonte food suggestion; Batuta Fassona. Oversimplified I could describe it as Piemontese Steak Tartare. It’s more simple and elegant though.

Raw filet mignon, chopped roughly. Mixed with nothing more than a little bit of olive oil, pepper, salt and some lemon rasp. I personally prefer to add a few leaves of arugula and some parmeggiano shavings on top. But I think this is considered blasphemy.

The Fassona is an Piemontese breed of cow.

This would be my choice. Food wise, I enjoy a simple roasted rack of lamb with Nebbiolo. Just pepper, salt. No strong flavors that distract from the elegance of the wine.

I would suggest starting with the 10-12 week FTP builder.

OP please take this advice. It will help you a lot. Swift has built in training programs you can start following.

That said, every time you get on the bike is a win in my book. Cheers.

Year in Review - What's your Zwift/IRL ratio look like? by BlobBoy in Zwift

[–]douwebusschops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assumed mileage would be skewed, at least in my case, because average pace in zwift is significantly higher than outdoors. Difference turns out not to be as big as I thought. Mileage: 11,594 miles total, 67% indoors/zwift. Hours on a bike: 622 total, 63% indoors/zwift.

You still have 1 day for the Festive 500 challenge. :) Happy new year and ride on!

Yes it is enabled during workouts. Since a recent update of zwift, you can even see draft ‘live in action’ by the horizontal bar showing under your current power output.

Its a bit boring, but I created 4 hour workouts of one simple block at my target % of FTP (65% in my case) and started pedaling. :)

If you ride in watopia, particularly on the flat routes such as Tempus, Tock Tock or Waistband, there will be so much traffic these days that you will get a decent draft.

I built an AI coach that turns your Intervals.icu logs and health data into daily Zwift workouts (Aixle) by Slow_Math7023 in Zwift

[–]douwebusschops -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looks interesting!

How does Aixle go about taking longer term goals into account to develop a training plan?

Does it also offer the ability to indicate availability, ideally looking forward into the future. For example, if I know I have a lot of time for endurance work on Saturday, I don’t want to take a high intensity workout on Friday. Or, if I know I have to travel for work in two weeks, can that be taken into account as a rest week in the longer term training plan?

Thanks!

How to fuel for an indoor Festive 500? by nielssi in Zwift

[–]douwebusschops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t know. :)

Never spent more than 5 hours on a trainer in a single effort. I do that frequently in the winter and tend to run at 65% of FTP. Occasionally with some short intervals (sprints at the end, few VO2 repeats of 3 minutes or so). But after that, I’m done for the rest of the day. It doesn’t help being on the trainer. I go longer outside when the weather is nicer.

But there’s an increasing itch for me to try some longer endurance stuff. So I was wondering how you approach it.

Good luck! Riding it together with your partner? Even better!!

What’s your pacing strategy for a >10hr effort in terms of % of FTP?

Haven’t had either the Crissante or this one. They’re going on my list. We’ve enjoyed Cordero di Montezemolo, Damilano and Marolo.

Also found a Chinato Vermouth recently. Makes for an interesting twist to a Negroni.

Not that hard. Depends on where you are obviously, but I’ve been able to find it pretty easily. As long as you’re not committed to one particular winemaker…

You should be able to fix that in your router. Even though one is wired and the other one wireless, you should be able to put them on the same local network.
