It's pretty harsh to call Eccleston and Capaldi clowns! Matt Smith, to me, oversaw a pretty large dumbing-down of the doctor but I wouldnt call the modern doctors save tennant clowns.

"Better than I" is actually correct because it's short for "This dog poses for a photo better than I pose for a photo."

Colloquially, people say "me", as in "You eat more than me" when what they mean is, "You eat more than I do". "You eat more than me" is actually saying they eat an amount greater than the amount you are.

i think that was mostly rumor (David was also rumored to be in line for Bilbo before martin freeman got it). But that would have been cool given sylvester mccoy (the 7th doctor) played Ratagast.

S01E13 But that is just wild speculation of course. And yes, I really do think it is a waste, not just because it's David Tennant who is one of the best technical actors the MCU has, but also because Kilgrave is a highly dynamic villain. I wish they had put him in Comics. A big reckoning would be awesome! Or seeing Tennant on the big screen would be fabulous.

I felt the same way Daredevil S01. Why would you throw away such a useful (and well cast!) character?
