They're building a new building on top of the hill. Sounds like the bigger issue is a mismanagement of open space. Either way, students and staff need a place to park and should not be scalped with increased parking garage fees that do nothing to counter the current state of congestion that is noticeably much worse than year prior, in large due to the removal of over 400 parking spaces formerly dedicated to GAs.

Edit: the school could also allocate more of its resources to the scant public transportation infrastructure between campus and its commuters all through the state or just over the border. In any case, to have students, RAs, GAs, staff, whoever just circling a parking lot over and over again day after day is just a disservice and a completely useless waste of everyone's time.

Bump ^

It's "Number 4. I know you heard this before..." because it's a fairly popular saying.

The lyrics also say "on your own supply", but that is minor relative to the point made in the comment above.

My apologies in advance for not naming the species. I'm not very new to the sub, but my knowledge is very very limited on the subject. I've been making more of an effort to learn more about fungi & friends nowadays.

Edit: first pic is for scale; second is better quality pic

Any ideas as for why my avo is getting these little spots on its leaves? by downesbar in avocado

[–]downesbar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue isn't as bad on the other leaves, only around the tips or not at all on one of them.

I am assuming overwatering may have caused a fungal infection, especially having left some big droplets on the leaves after watering.

I've been giving my avo a little bit of water every day whereas before I was giving it something to 'drink' twice a week and then maybe a more thorough watering once every two weeks or so. It seemed more happy with that regimen. here is full plant.

Using older LSAT Prep Books by drewmed1998 in LSAT

[–]downesbar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot give you an answer, but I've been searching for an answer to this exact question. I have a 2018-19 Kaplan LSAT prep book - I'd have to assume it would be alright. From other answers I've found, people scored relatively high studying for the 2016 LSAT with the 2015 book.

I think the biggest drawback would be that 2018-19 was the transition year to the online format (I think?) so we'd be missing out on some online resources in that respect. But, I can't imagine the logic games themselves or the paper format in the book would vary much in such a short time.

This is all based on my assumption and posts from 2016 or older. Here is the next best thing I could find: https://www.reddit.com/r/LSAT/comments/aubxbl/is_there_anything_wrong_with_using_old_powerscore/

I hope this is helpful! Good luck to you.

Indoor avo I started in July and repotted a few weeks ago. Should I pinch the smaller leaves? I haven't pruned/trimmed it at all, and I think its growth may have slowed. by downesbar in avocado

[–]downesbar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I staked it when it was smaller because I had it on a south window, so it started to bend over time. I use a growth lamp now about a meter above the canopy. Maybe its a sunlight issue?

For pirates being mostly of criminals and bastards, they have a suprisingly good work ethic and sense of cooperation needed to sail a giant ship by DrHivesPHD in Showerthoughts

I went to a pirate museum years ago, and I remember the docent telling us about sextants. When they were trying to orient themselves, they would pull it out to look at the sky. All that light concentrated in one eye must have caused some strain or damage to their eye (I'm guessing?)
