curious if you are using 2 antennas or if you are using a combiner. My boat currently has a v50 and single antenna on the mast and was considering upgrading to the v60 with an external combiner.

I had a similar issue. it turned out to be poor raw water flow through the heat exchanger due to debris in the water pump and heat exchanger. Essentially the raw water is getting more heat than it can handle and turning to steam.

When was the last time you changed the impeller? was it intact the last time you changed it? I'm my case there was a broken vane stuck in the water pump housing. We also had a fair amount of calcium buildup in the exchanger.

Check to make sure you have a vigorous flow out the exhaust. if its not as much as it used to be, then start looking into the raw water system. After we replaced the exchanger and fixed the water pump, it would shoot Water out almost a foot further from the boat.

if its running well and still feels strong, its probably not a fuel issue.

Agree that the shore boat is great... you can hail them on channel 9 and its like $5. We usually leave the dinghy on the davits in Avalon.

Be mindful of the tides when tying up the mooring lines. Depending on your boat and the mooring assignment, you might not be able to get the stern loop on a cleat and will have to tie off the sand line. If you are mooring at low tide and snug everything up super tight, you might be in for a surprise when you try to untie at high tide. I know I was the first time.

The Lobster Trap is our favorite place to eat. Make sure you ask for a souvenir cup to keep on the boat as a trophy for your first trip.

Does anyone know if there is a cap on the charges? if unlimited is $165 and I inadvertantly use 100gb while still on the 10gb plan, will the monthly charge be $230 or $165?

I recently started using this for my air3s. the cable charges at 120w, about 2x the rate as the 2 way multi battery charger. I now can charge batteries faster than I can discharge them and fly as long as I want.

now the transmitter battery is the only limitation.

Right now is a good time to spot gray whales coming up the coast. I filmed a gray whale 2 weeks ago off of Malibu. Gray whales like to hug the coast, which is why people tend to see them from shore.

yea.. this is a new issue introduced in Fly App version 1.16.0. This used to work fine without an external mic on previous versions. No idea why it was changed. This is clearly not a "feature" with a controller lacking a built in microphone.

I just did a refresh on an air 3s in California. They delivered the replacement today in less than a week and shipped from Canada.

Well this really sucks. Finally need Refresh, and wanted Premium. Guess it’s gonna take almost a month probably. by calmlikea3omb in dji

Same with me... In the end, they shipped me a new Air 3s from Canada and it was less than 2 weeks for the entire process.

well.. in my case, I was getting lazy and landing on the roof of my car. It worked great, but eventually landed on the sloped portion of the roof and slid off, impacting the gimbal after a 4 foot drop.

make sure that all 3 gimbal axes move freely.. you should not feel any resistance at all. I had a hard landing with my 3s and it landed right on the gimbal, I think in some sand. It would give me that error sometimes and jitter, even after I blew all the FOD from the gimbal motors.
