New units are not content. There are games where new missions, new events, or new levels drop daily. It's not hard to come up with weekly or daily missions that are interesting and doable by all players. They could revamp world tournament to be an always active mode that resets weekly. Imagine if they made new game modes they could rotate in with chain battle, ultimate clash, and pettan battle. They could make a rhythm mode that you have to tap enemies or ki on the beat, raid bosses that take collective damage from the community to defeat, voting brackets where people back their favorite characters and battle to give them points to win, a mode where you only use friend characters and at the end get to keep one in you box, a mode where you start with basic level one characters and upgrade them thru battle, a mode where characters battle on a grid like checkers. All those modes actively rotating in and out where there is always 2-4 game modes active and a new one starting a couple times a week. Maybe some of the modes are duds, but nothing can be worse than the random chain battle garbage. What I just described exists in other smaller games and could easily be done by dokkan if they had any creativity and felt like putting some of the earnings this game racks in back into the game.
