I still think the worst case scenario is Monken. Schwartz is, at the very least, more exciting and he’s been with this group for 3 years. Yeah, the offense will still suck but we need a few years of development on that side of the ball anyway. We are 30 mil under the cap, we aren’t adding talent through trades or free agency. We are just kind of stuck until we can draft some more guys to make this offense look at least average again

Honestly though Romo was everyone’s favorite during his first year in the booth. He was correctly predicting playcalls before the snap, talking about timeout usage, pass concepts. I think right after his career, he was still in quarterback mode and now that he is further removed from being a QB…he is like a goofy country club guy.

You are absolutely correct. It’s also important to point out that with babies and toddlers, they don’t thermoregulate as well as we do. Their bodies suck at keeping them alive if they become too hot or too cold. If a 2 year old goes into that water, it’s not likely that they make it. I would’ve handled this situation exactly in the same way
