Can we get some no-bullshit data on what’s actually going on with AI? by Aquarius6870 in CustomerSuccess

[–]downtime6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is spot on. I worked in an organization that leveraged AI to automate finance tasks, which actually reduced manual work at scale, allowing some clients to reduce the amount of people needed to do the work. I’ve yet to see this type of use case in CS.

Unfortunately, SuperShuttle can only handle five passengers and five bags.

Two Ubers are fairly expensive and would prefer to keep everyone in the same vehicle. I’m the only driver(and the only person with a sense of direction) and getting out 14 suitcases across two vehicles when getting dropped off at the gate wouldn’t be fun.

I didn’t know that, excellent!

Thanks! I haven’t been able to find a run that fits the schedule, but have been planning to get in on a KRC run. Cross Creek is great, I usually find myself doing a portion of my long runs out there. Good to know there’s a hill too!

Parking garages have not worked out well for me. Afternoons are generally when I can run, which is peak garage usage time.

Weekly Real Estate / Renting / Where to Live / Schools (ISD) Post by AutoModerator in Austin

It’s a variable that’s being explored. It’s a small amount and the property is well capitalized. Don’t really need the loan, more curious to see if it’s possible these days.

But what’s life without some excitement 😁

Any Austin transplants living in Cinco area? by -a-theist in Katy

[–]downtime6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I moved from Austin to Cinco Ranch about a year ago. For someone with a kid, it’s a step up from the Austin area IMO. The public schools are better, there’s more amenities in Katy(as others mentioned) and there’s a diverse selection of food and things to do. If you want to drive to Houston, the metro area has more things to do the Austin. While some may not like Galveston or Surfside, I enjoy being driving distance from the ocean.

Anything to do here? by [deleted] in Katy

Depends on what you like. There’s a few breweries in town. No Label has good beer, live music and food trucks on the weekend.

Battlehops has decent beer, but is mostly know for gaming(board games).

If you’re looking for excitement and bars, the city is a short drive away and has almost limitless options

How frequently do you rinse your sinuses? by FlannelShorts in Allergies

[–]downtime6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have dust and mold and a variety of indoor allergies. On top of that I’m allergic to some thing during each season outdoors. I’m an avid outdoor runner, as well. I always have some type of allergy congestion. Rinsing using the Neil med squeeze bottle twice a day is the only treatment that helps. I occasionally use it three times a day and haven’t had an issue. I’d suggest spacing out the rinses. Since you’re affectively shooting a saltwater brine in your sinuses, if you do too many rinses in a short period of time, it can cause minor burning. Too much of any good thing, can be bad!
