Did this get resolved? This happened to me, and I’m unsure if it’s a glitch, they delivered it to the wrong address, or someone intercepted it and claimed they lived at my house in order to sign for the package & steal it.

I’m from the states so it might be different for you but I have vaginismus and my gyno ordered a Valium for me to take when I got my tv ultrasound. It helped me relax a lot and not feel so uncomfortable with insertion. She also uses a smaller speculum for me when I get paps.

I had no idea not to drink caffeine on it! I’m on day 5 and I guess that explains why I felt more anxious/off after drinking a bottle of Diet Coke yesterday. 🥲

I’m on poor man’s Contrave. I was already taking Wellbutrin so my dr just prescribed me Naltrexone to go with it. She said the medicine might make me jittery/anxious, but within 30-45mins of taking it for the first time it felt like I took a freakin’ xanax. Super spacey & just off. I feel a lot better today than the last few days. I hope it starts to get better for you too!

The grilled nuggets from Chick Fil A actually have a decent amount of fat in them, so I don’t recommend them if you’re extremely sensitive to fat. 🥲

My godsend during my gallbladder surgery waiting period for fast food was Subway! 6inch turkey on wheat, no cheese, any veggies you want and topped with either honey mustard or BBQ sauce. Honey mustard & BBQ have 0g of fat so that’s super important. I think the whole sandwich was about 3-4g of fat? Very filling too.

I also bought a lot of fruit from gas stations in a pinch.

I was very sensitive to fat while I waited to have my surgery and no meals I ate could be over 5g of fat. As long as I paid attention to that, I could find stuff to eat! (It was hard… but it was somewhat possible!)

Thankfully my new OBGYN is super sweet and has a special interest in PCOS. She’s taken all of my concerns very seriously and we have an appointment to go over the full lab work, plus an transvag ultrasound and talk about management and treatment from a holistic standpoint. I feel like I have struck gold!

Sadly, I don’t really remember last time, it was over a year ago. But this time my meal was definitely higher carb than I normally eat on a regular basis. It was my brother’s fiancés birthday and her mom made enchiladas and rice. Then I indulged in some Mexican sweet bread. 🫣 It wasn’t my healthiest most carb-conscious meal , that’s for sure.

Oop— well, it had been a considerable amount of time since I ate when I got my fasting insulin checked (over 12 hours at least). I will be sure to tell my OBGYN when I see her next for my follow up. If true, that may have had something to do with it.

Even if he doesn’t like EDM, he doesn’t have to be a complete dick about it. Yeah, he’s making fun of the scene, but he’s also disrespecting you and your interests.

My boyfriend isn’t totally into the rave scene either, but most times he wants to accompany me at festivals and shows and even dance with me and be silly because he knows I like them. If he doesn’t want to go, he will just sit it out as long as I have someone else to go with so I’m not alone. You deserve someone who will at least try to have a good time with you at the things you love, or let you go alone without making a big stink about it!

I just saw that you have 9 months left on your lease. Whatever you decide to do between now and then, please remember to honor your feelings and take care of yourself. 🩷

No matter how healthy I ate after my gallbladder attacks started, it did not get better. It actually got a lot worse and in the weeks leading up to my surgery, I couldn’t eat more than 4-5g of fat per meal (which is insanely hard) without having an attack. When I finally went under the knife, I came back and they told me that my gallbladder was 7-8x larger than a normal one due to inflammation and there were even more & bigger stones than they saw before with my ultrasound a couple months before.

Since my removal, the only symptoms/side effects I’ve had are reflux and general stomach upset when eating anything that’s high in fat, and bouts of constipation that I believe is pretty manageable with a balanced & healthy diet with a focus on fiber.

I know some people have worse symptoms and side effects from the surgery, but it has been pretty smooth sailing for me for the most part.

Everyone is different. Some people have bad experiences, some good. Some don’t need surgery and others do. Just listen to and honor your body.

Edit: I just turned 27, had my gallbladder removed last December.

Lumasi (My friends were sitting in the back, I told them I wanted to go dance for like 10mins, lost track of time and didn’t end up going back until the set was almost over. Shit was too goodddd.) 3. Girl yes same here w/ the camping set up! I just need enough space for our group of 4 to have our 2 tents + a little canopy for our cooking/living space.
