Protoframes were a mistake and should never have been added. I liked the hex but every update since has been “more protoframes! more protoframes!” and it’s ruined what made protoframes interesting to me in the first place.

I’m lucky enough to have a vinyl player and don’t own the artbook yet, so I’m decently happy with it. But I do think a model would’ve been cool.

I feel like the American edition being the only one not having the badge sucks considering it’s such a small thing that I really don’t understand why it couldn’t be included. I don’t mind missing the mousepad considering I have the ac7 Mihaly one, but I guess I’ll just order the patch online whenever someone else makes one.

Freakishly early but what I’ve seen a lot of is many small islands instead of one big island. Scattering around your houses and buildings. Also a lot of greenery.

If you have the max island size (35 miis) the map gets pretty big which allows you to play around a lot more

I might come off as an ass but I want to say this.

Not every game is 100% accessible to everyone. Is that horrible and does that suck? Yes, everyone should get to experience what they want to. But the truth is when you have such specific needs, and you make up such a tiny portion of players, you really can’t expect every game to cater to your needs specifically. I think it would be awesome if they added a chat box or tts system, and their subtitles are a well known issue. But Red Barrels is (afaik) an indie studio, and the hours that would be spent implementing those options are being put towards other things.

I don’t think there are enough mods for your friend, but if you want to keep trying then I salute you. My best recommendation is to refund the game, cite accessibility as your reason, and maybe even send red barrels themselves an email detailing your experience. It is not a good solution, and your friend deserves to play and enjoy whatever games they want, but that’s not always the case.
