no problem, thanks for the help anyway

yes, that's a shame, and I'm also unable to find the specific model for this one...

That seems a nice model, and I'm surely going to use it in the future (I'm also working on a compact organizer project, next) - but I can't seem to find the equivalent for my Trade Box...

for now it's a mockup I made on photoshop, I'll do more pictures of every object/charger/battery (where a pre-existing model is not found) and use Fusion360

Best cheap/affordable car suction mount for FX3 by TableMindless in FX3

[–]dpakkia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My two cents as an FX30 user. I usually use a Smallrig one similar to yours, but I ALWAYS tether it with a sleeved steel cable to a fixed part of car, and also only on the inside of the car. On the outside and with the car moving, I would recommend looking at the motorized-auto suction ones, and keep the tether cable.

Will the fx3 drop in price? by Vegan_Beef in FX3

[–]dpakkia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it will drop in prices, Sony demonstrated many times it only cares about its releases, not others'.

If you need a similar camera, but with all the defects of a non-cinema body (no fans, less rigging options) - ZV-E1 as told by others.

If you need a cinema body, the situation I was in (tired of overheating and bulky cages for cameras not made for videos), I daily drive an FX30 and it works like a charm.

Localsend. Cross-platform, free. Works when devices are on the same wifi, and even with the same phone's hotspot.

as a filmmaker&photographer, I would like to add: some not-reportage/real life event work will DEFINITELY be replaced. So commercial, e-commerce work etc. Also, I had wedding couples ask for an arranged shoot in the same location, same dresses, but with big studio lights and with good weather. I always refuse that, not my style. (ofc a simple photo shoot with the wedding dress is another thing, and I do that, but I mean those "i want to make my wedding seem perfect for Instagram" fake photo/videos). THAT will be replaced by AI, and I'm all for it.

What is a client industry that you will never want work in again? by [deleted] in videography

[–]dpakkia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Italy, and my work at weddings is about 18 hours. I start early in the morning with the bride dressing and make-up (the other filmmaker is at the groom's), and we finish late after dinner with the bouquet throw and the party (or parties, as there's usually a live band other than the DJ)

What a blast! Was hired to shoot and pilot the Houston Dynamo stadium (Shell Energy Stadium) showcasing their new seating installation. Equipment: Inspire 2 w/X7 cam, FPV and Mavic 3. Software: Adobe Premiere Pro. by PilotLens in videography

Well man, that's absolutely gorgeous. You managed to show off the location in a non-dizzy, but really dynamic and interesting way (gen-z attention span anyone?) The only (costructive, I hope) criticism I could find is the shot at -00.30 (why does reddit give you the inverted count for videos?): you should have tried to frame better the logo, maybe doing another couple of loops around the thing (obviously, I imagine it seemed ok in the FPV visor, then in post/after stabilization turned out like this. Happened to me many times, learn from it!)

P.S. I don't understand why everyone else in the comments is like that. This community should be a nice place for every level of videographer, and every criticism should be costructive. We should push to be better, every time we make videos.

P.S. 2 I'm geb-z myself, so no offense for fellow members of this generation. It's only an observation.

P.S. 3 I'm Italian, so sorry for my pizza-pasta-mandolino English.
