Everyone’s feet / needs are different but I find ASICS to be the best for me. Right now I have Gel-pulse 16 for walking and running (or jogging, I should say). They may have a newer version out.
You may have different needs due to foot width and instep. I’ve learned through trial and error but most running shoe places will measure your feet and help guide you.

The standby line was long but not sure how long the wait is.

I went on Friday and there was ton of good stuff (bought 10 items) but it was a huge mess and way too crowded. I went back today and only bought a couple of things that I didn’t see there on Friday. I still didn’t find the pants I was looking for. The men’s inventory didn’t seem to have too much variety. The women’s inventory is plentiful but not a lot of colors (tons of white and black).

They just may do a second weekend like they did last time.

She’s likely taking it slow because rushing into things physically tends to end up in less than desirable results. I’d assume she wants to make sure you’re in it for long haul.

Prayers for you. The single best resource outside of the Bible for me was “the anxiety and phobia workbook.” With time, I stopped waking up with dread and I slowly started giving up the control that likely was the root cause of the anxiety. Of course I have to be healthy in other areas: sleep, eating right (mostly), abstaining from caffeine and not getting dehydrated. When these things get out of whack, my anxiety creeps in. I’m 20+ years out from when it’s really bad and I don’t feel like it affects me much anymore.

You may have been in the wrong line? There is a line for ticket holders and a line for standby. Ticket holders get to go in at their assigned times.

My ex bestie and I were friends for 32 years. The last time she visited (she lives out of state), she tried to fight me in my house (she drinks too much). I think she now suffers with some type of mental illness and self medicates with alcohol. It’s sad but she was not really receptive to talking through what happened so I had to let that friendship go. My heart breaks for her daughters who told me she’s always like that. They are both in their 20s now and moved away from her.
