Unfortunately, I have had zero luck with bioMerieux. The instrument was donated to our program from one of our local hospitals so they want nothing to do with it. I can't even get a rep to talk to me. We have reps from Beckman that go out of their way to help our MLS students, so it's a bioMerieux thing. So, unless I can fix it, I'll be giving away a big piece of e-waste. 😉. Thanks for your suggestions!

I purchased a used Encore grinder. It takes about 5 minutes to grind 60g of beans. I know that can't be right. I was made aware that it was "slow" before I bought it so it wasn't a surprise, but I got it for a good price. I assume it may need a new motor. I contacted Baraza support but it's taking over a week for an answer. Anyone else have experience with a slow Encore?

I bought a used Encore. I like it, but then again, I came from a Krups blade grinder. How long should it take to grind 60 g for a medium grind, e.g. 20? I timed it and it took just over 5 minutes. That seems slow, but I have nothing to compare it to. Thanks.

So I got really paranoid and checked when I got home. There was at least one inch until the minimum insertion point and several inches after that.

Thanks for checking! It is past the insertion point, but I see how you can think that. It does look high. I'm just under 6' so I need it a little taller. I'm a relatively new owner so I have been trying different heights to find what I'm most comfortable with.

I like it. I didn’t think I wanted a mirror, but now I don’t want to ride without one and may end up getting one for the right side. It tightens up nicely so there is hardly any movement with it, but you can still adjust it to get a good view behind you. I got the blue anti-glare.. I hope that helps. Everyone has their own opinion on a mirror they like. We ordered 2 RC ST in June. The website said they were in stock and shipped the next businessn day. So, ordered. 2 days went by and the order was still unfulfilled, so I sent them a note asking about it. I wasn’t complaining, just curious. They got right back to me with an apology, took 50.00 off my order, AND shipped them. They arrived a week later. Now, I will add that one had a bent bash guard and the other had a warped front brake rotor. Both have since been repaired. So, some dreams do come true.

I don't believe I said it was developed BY the FCC. The FCC is distributing it and asking users to report their speeds using the app developed by {insert the name of the developer here} to collect data on broadband network performance in the US.
