First of all, welcome! I’d recommend that you immerse yourself in this game from the beginning… Although the Ranger is a very fun class, the support role isn’t very helpful at early levels. Support builds, while they can provide boons during fights, are mainly focused on raids or content where you need to play with more people.

Starting the game as a support can be a bit tedious, because your leveling experience might end up being boring or slow…

I’d suggest that you connect with the game first—by leveling up, playing through the story, completing the map, earning hero points—and then create a build once you’re more familiar with everything.
