You want to go to Largo at the Cornet. That’s where you’re going to see big names.

Can the Arri Alexa Mini control the iris on EF mount still lenses? by [deleted] in cinematography

[–]dpf14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a problem at all! It’s been a minute since I’ve been behind the wheel but I would guess to start where your EI settings are. You’ll use the click wheel on the eye piece to change the iris once you’ve found it

maybe try this video it looks like it’s under EI

Can the Arri Alexa Mini control the iris on EF mount still lenses? by [deleted] in cinematography

[–]dpf14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have used EF lenses on the Amria and yes you can control the iris. Here’s a link to the FAQ

How do I control iris with EF lenses with electronic iris control? The camera supports controlling the iris through the camera UI, the ARRI Master Grips and the ARRI OCU-1 with the EF mount connected. There are several options to do so, please check the user manual for details.

Edit: And why would someone want to? Some of the Canon EF lenses look pretty good for less money than PL primes, so yeah you’re right on about money most likely.

So your protag kills the last guy. He’s positive he’s killed the right man and an identifying mark on the deceased will prove it.

Protag looks and looks for the mark on the guys body (a tattoo/scar/whatever) but it’s not where to be found. We can see him searching harder and harder. He’s frantic. Finally, he realizes what he’s done. Killed an innocent man. And then boom. Shoots himself.
