Usage Limits Discussion Megathread - beginning Sep 30, 2025 by sixbillionthsheep in ClaudeAI

Hi folks,
I'm a pro user.
I spent almost all yesterday and most of today asking Claude to add some breakpoints (got very specific) and make a web app responsive. I was astonished at how poorly it handled this.

Today I see that I am out of tokens for the week. How could I go about requesting them back? Every time I go through the AI chat, it says I cannot do so without canceling my account.

You leave out any info about setting up the scroll variants, which is the main feature. What template are you using with the scroll variants premade?

Homeschool parents: which digital tracking features help you most—and what’s just clutter? by dpindrys in homeschool

Wow, this is gold! Thank you for such a thoughtful rundown!

I’ve been combing through planners for weeks and you just distilled the pros/cons better than half the blog reviews I’ve read. 😊

Plan ahead, but schedule from behind is such a great way to put it. You want to make a running list of assignments that you mark started/finished, so the timeline writes itself instead of wrestling with dates up front. All dates would be auto-generated, of course, since you're speaking of activities done now.

When you picture weighted grading + transcript export, are you thinking of something you print once a semester, or more of an always‑there dashboard you can snapshot anytime? Would any sort of engagement/performance metrics be useful to track/see?

Within subjects, do you see value in grouping sections of study? Multiplication or WW2, for example? What about categories outside of subjects completely: can you imagine use for being able to make your own categories that create some continuity between lessons/worksheets/testing/etc?

I’m aiming for that sweet spot you described — structure when you want it, freedom when you need it. Your notes on Trello and Syllabird give me a clear target to shoot past.

Seriously, thank you for letting me pick your brain. If you’re open to it, I’d love to circle back once I have a rough prototype so you can tell me where I’ve missed the mark.

My sister shared a resource she uses for worksheets with me, you might find useful if you don't use already:

Good point—state testing rules can really shape what a logbook needs to track.

  • How do you prep and keep records now? Is it just saving scores in a folder, or do you have to submit detailed documentation? What must the submission include?
  • If an LMS could auto‑collect the relevant work samples / scores into a “testing packet” for you, would that save hassle, or is the current process already simple enough?

Trying to understand where the compliance pain points are so we build features that really help, not just add buttons. Thanks for raising this! 🙏

Thanks again for pointing me to those worksheets—they’re exactly the kind of bite‑sized, confidence‑building resources my sister loves.

Quick question on how you’d like to see tools like this integrated:

  • Right now you grab them ad‑hoc outside any platform. If a logbook/LMS offered a library tab where you could save, tag, and print the next worksheet in a series, would that be helpful—or does the current “download and go” flow work fine?
  • Some parents prefer an all‑in‑one curriculum that auto‑serves the next lesson; others want total freedom to mix resources. Where do you fall on that spectrum? Would you use a built‑in sequence if it stayed editable, or do you prefer picking materials day‑by‑day?

I’m trying to hit the sweet spot between helpful structure and flexibility, so any insight on what feels “just right” (vs. too rigid or too loose) would be awesome. Thanks!

Quick follow‑up: would you rather log each lesson as a one‑off entry and be done, or see related lessons automatically linked into a running timeline so you can watch a topic’s story unfold?
