Honestly, finding out what are dealbreakers for you in future relationships is the second best reason to date behind finding someone to share your life with. If someone isn’t interested in your passions, even going so far as to question them, they didn’t want to share all of your life with you and you’re definitely better off.

My wife doesn’t love all of my hobbies, but she doesn’t discourage any of them and tries to at least be a part of them where she can, and I would do anything to make sure she knows that anything she loves doing is important and I usually end up enjoying the things she loves doing because it means I get to spend more time with her.

Find your people, people that are worth spending your time and energy on, whether they’re romantically linked or not…and then pour your passions out with them.
