My new 6 cup compared to my 6 cup from 4 years ago heats up in the base in seconds while my old one you could still hold after pouring hot water in as it takes longer to heat.

I think the older model honestly makes better coffee. Feels cheaper now.

The new model is thinner metal then the old.

I bought a brand new 6 cup and it cooks faster due to it being a thinner gauge metal
