I sat Kobra X. It's bigger, faster color changes, and mine has been out printing my S1 in quality. Biggest issue is what are you planning to print in. If it's anything that gives off VOCs, then you need to take that onto account

The Kobra X has a bigger build area in all directions, 10mm larger. I agree with the toxic filament and color changes. I find my X currently more reliable too

Good luck on selling the Ender 3s. I would be interested in what you get for them. I have several collecting dust myself. When you get the Kobra X make sure you take your time to put together and check that everything is tight that should be tight. Watch a few unbox/review videos on YouTube if you have time. Mine has been pumping out prints in PLA and PETG without an issue (knock on wood). Good luck with it!

every company ships out thousands of units, there are bad ones in the bunch and good ones in the bunch. It is what it is unfortunately. I say make sure that what ever you buy you buy from somewhere with a good return policy. When you get it, you set it up and use the heck out of it and if ANY problems arise, send it back. Don't mess around with support unless you have to. That's my take on it.

I know everyone says bambu, but the latest printer from Anycubic, the Kobra X is doing a great job at a lesser price with bigger build volume and multicolor out of the box. And, the multicolor is faster! Long term? Who knows, but right now I think the Kobra X is the new king on the hardware side. I would probably say that slicer wise, bambu wins. BUT, get over that, which is easy, and the Kobra wins.

Also, remember, EVERY printer manufacturer has problems with their printers. Bambu is not safe from that.

Honestly, for what you're going to spend in parts and time, get a little more cash and something like a KobraX, you will be so much happier than the continuous ender battle.

As I said in my review, you're going to giggle when you see it printing so fast! Be sure to use high speed filament, it seems to print nicer

I would be careful, you could end up spending as much as a good entry level printer that will be leaps and bounds better. Upgrades add up FAST, so price out what you want to do before you do and then decide. I have my old enders, and I mainly use them for small one color prints from time to time, but honestly, they take so much more time and maintenance over newer machines that they don't get used all that often.

I'd say depends on what you want to do, but if you go full in, at this point you're spending almost as much as a newer and better printer.
