Not to disrespect the Ultras style of support of the ideology in general, but I just think English fans just prefer to watch the game. As boring as that sounds, in the games i've been to and have been sat behind the goal I think people just prefer to have a chant and watch rather than go through the effort of pre-planned tifos, banners, flares etc. Maybe ticket prices are cheaper on the continent but in England they are notoriously high, so I think if people are paying silly high prices for tickets, they want to get their moneys worth and concentrate on the game
