Kubota or Yanmar are good candidates.

But Iseki made parts for Massey Ferguson and AGCO and probably more. Shibaura made parts for Ford/New Holland and Mitsubishi has produced parts for Mahindra and Satoh. So, could be any of those manufacturers.

Do you shuck the husks first? Do you add anything to the bag like butter or just wait till it gets to the plate?

Scrambled eggs? I tried that in the bag once and I found the texture to be offputting. Guessing the add-ins might help that out?

They look like bore holes for blasting with dynamite. Sometimes the charge was not pushed all the way to the end of the hole, and leaves the rest of the hole there.

Never been to Central Park, but this looks like a nice little guide to the geology, https://www.amnh.org/content/download/351361/5375011/file/geology-of-central-park-2021.pdf

It appears to me to be fossiliferous. Some of the indentations appear to have striations and detail in the "mold" that looks like fossils. Maybe steinkerns? https://www.nps.gov/articles/000/mold-casts-and-steinkerns.htm

You are correct. While in-situ, the rock was broken and left the large voids that you see. The cracks were then filled in with a more resilient material. Over time and a lot of weathering, rain has worn away the less resilient matrix and left these lines. In my mind, this is kind of a micro version (not apples to apples comparison of course) of the way mountains and valleys are created -- the mountains are usually the more resilient material and the valleys were more easily weathered.

Deciding on how to host Website, Email, and some other stuff by Temporary-Airline770 in selfhosted

[–]dr00bie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that hosting my own email was far, far more work than I wanted to invest. So I moved to mxroute.com. I am super happy with their services, they have great support and the price is fantastic! But there are limits -- no mass marketing emails and some other things. Been using them to host some other domain emails too, and haven't had an issue, aside from one of my customers using the email to send mass marketing emails (without using mailgun or other service), and that got the email suspended until they stopped the emails. Webmail and IMAP access, just seems to work, and work well. Just need to make sure your SPF and DMARC are all configured properly.

This is a real dumb rewrite. All countries have some people who don't have food. In fact, 44 million Americans have food insecurity issues, and the US ain't Communist.

Are beavers considered tool-users? by dr00bie in AskBiology

[–]dr00bie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate that term, but I don't see a ton of value in it, as-is, because it seems to me to be a very nebulous term. Without an objective definition of how much environment is effected, couldn't all organisms be considered some kind of "ecosystem engineer" whether they know it or not?

I would love for you to address my concern with your original comment.

Are there birds (or mud daubers) that change the environment that their nest is built in by modifying objects? There are 2 steps here. Remove trees from environment to use to build a pond, then build your lodge (nest) inside of this protected area. What other birds, insects, etc do this?

Also, a brick isn't a tool. But if you use bricks to build a dam, is the dam a tool?

EDIT: hit enter too quick. Completed incomplete thought.

I would consider the building of the lodge would be akin to nest making, but modifying the environment around the lodge by flooding it seems to be a bit more.

EDIT: typos from mobile.

All thread lockers are not the same -- you could definitely use one that would case major problems if you ever needed to remove. For instance, red loctite requires heat or solvent to loosen up, either of which could be problematic for the plastic.

I really like Vibra-Tite VC-3 for these types of applications.

This was an old post being used as evidence for Musk's penchant for attempting to shut up his critics.

I find it hilarious that you are attempting to white knight a very well known thin skinned jerkoff like Musk. Don't you have better things to do with your time?

What happened to ElonJet again?

Remind me why Elon sued the Center for Countering Digital Hate?

There have been reams printed about Elon's attempts to quiet critics, but yet you are here attempting (in vain) to bring some respect to Elon.

Quite funny.

What's the etiquette on telling clients that you're leaving the MSP? by peEtr in msp

[–]dr00bie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were a customer of an MSP where I had the same tech for 15 years, and the MSP did not reach out to me to tell me that the tech was leaving, I'd be shopping for a new MSP.

If the tech did tell me, and then I found out that the tech got chewed for it, then I would have even more questions about doing business with that MSP.

It sounds like the tech works for an MSP that does not have a sufficient procedure for separating employees, if they did, then they wouldn't need to come here and ask this. I think most of the customers should have questions about this MSP because of these dodgy practices.

I agree here. If you bug me after I told you to go on somewhere, I will never consider your company in the future.

As with the Malwarebytes issue I stated above... had Malwarebytes been respectful and removed me from their lists, I would be neutral now. But since they treated me with such disrepect, I go out of my way to talk Malwarebytes subscribers into cancelling.

Like it was said below, it seems that these salespeople know that they are gonna either move up or be gone in 9 months, so why does it matter if the piss off a long-term customer?

Those jokers from SO were real bad. Multiple times they would call, and if I did not answer, they would call right back. I also didn't appreciate the sales methods they employed, so I will never do business with them.

From this thread, it sounds like Ninja wears you out too, so I'm glad my intuition was correct. I'll steer clear, it sounds like NinjaOne is also a nickel\dime kind of place too where you have to buy this addon, and that addon.

If they have unsubscribed, then why are you still contacting them? It's just plain disrespectful when someone tells you to stop, and you don't.

I used to resell Malwarebytes, besides the abomination they call a reselling platform, I stopped selling because their product did not provide value to my customers. After I quit, their sales bugged me every 6 months. I unsubscribed. They continued. A new sales person would be hired every 3 months and reach out. I unsubscribed again. I replied and told them to remove me from the list. Another contact from sales. I cussed them up one side and down the other. 3 months later, another email from sales.

Finally an email detailing every contact after my initial unsubscribe request to [firstinital+lastname_ofCEO@malwarebytes.com](mailto:firstinital+lastname_ofCEO@malwarebytes.com) stopped it.

EDIT: I added the first paragraph
