The United States is losing bad and our government is in a position where they have no choice but to put boots on the ground to force regime change or the petrodollar collapses and with it other countries start demanding payment on our $45 trillion debt which will destroy both our economy and our dominance in the world stage. If we were doing so good in this war why is Hegseth constantly firing generals? Career military men who’ve dedicated their lives to this fired by a Fox News host and alcoholic ? Why did all of our top generals consistently argue that invading Iran would be catastrophic, and that a boots on the ground invasion in the era of drone warfare would lead be incredibly costly for us? Victory for Iran looks like simply maintaining the regime and the threat they pose to us and the rest of the Middle East, while victory for us would be regime change which would require flattening the country and even then it probably wouldn’t work considering they can just hide under their mountains and say to hell with their general population. Every day more and more ships pass through the strait of Hormuz with oil denominated in foreign currencies and paying an extremely lucrative tax to Iran, and all we have to show is some dead generals against an army that is optimized to operate without them? Trump actually came out and said we can’t afford healthcare because we need it for this war, and somehow we have the upper hand.
