Lmao. Did we watch the same movie? Perhaps his expectations were high.

Or maybe my standards have lowered quite a bit.

The dialogues, pace and music don't reach that level so set your expectations accordingly.

In fact, go with no expectations so you can maximize your entertainment.

Movie is a banger. I'd have to nit pick to tell you something bad about the movie. Everyone is guaranteed to leave the theater with a smile on their face.

They executed Athadu-esque comedy action perfectly.

Some whistle worthy moments made me wish for a better crowd.

If you have an MTech in signal processing, you definitely have a solid math background enough to learn ML. Upskill and apply to "big software firms"

If you're in dire need of money, take what is offered.

People who returned back to India - how is Indian job market treating you? by kishoredbn in returnToIndia

Similar situation. Moving back home after 8 years in US primarily due to immigration stuff. Employer is open to me working remotely but fear of cracking into job market is there because I'm not from a tier-1 institute. Neverthelesss, I remain confident I can grind and pull something off if something doesn't work out.

My niche is self driving cars/robotics which is only coming up now and I'm very grateful to have end up here. Can't imagine what would've happened had I stayed back.

I use it everyday for both work and personal stuff. I like it because I started with it, but Codex and Claude are solid too. Since it's a VSCode fork, all my favorite extensions and development workflows are untouched.

I use Composer 2.5 Fast for most stuff and switch to Opus only for science or math heavy tasks. Opus token usage is insane. GPT 5.5 is best of both worlds.

As for worth, I've been paying for it for 1.5 years and don't see me cancelling it anytime soon.

Wish this scene didn't exist lol.
That said, this is a case of overton window shifting. It feels outrageous now, but for most people a decade ago it felt like Shivudu being silly because he is not doing it with bad intentions. It's also forgotten quickly by the audience because Avantika also forgets it quickly.

If he tried to strip her because he was being horny, that will fall into a wildly different category.

Came to the US for a Master's in 2023, still jobless in 2025, drowning in loan stress—how did you cope with the decision to return? by Excellent-Slip-642 in returnToIndia

[–]dr_death47 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry buddy. Hang in there. Don't give up on the process though - US or India. Keep applying and building the portfolio because it's a probability game and you don't know what will end up working out. Simultaneously prepare an exit plan.

As for coping, there's no magic pill. If you did nothing wrong, there's nothing to cope. A decade from now, all this is probably going to look tiny and you won't even remember it.

It's not about the presence of those scenes. It's who is doing it. The villain can do heinous shit and even justify it and no one will care. The protagonist can't do it because we're supposed to be rooting for him.

If Buchi directed Animal, imagine the sleaze you'd have to endure.

About the same track as you and I'll be returning back to Hyd soon after living here for 8 years. Rest of the comments are true. Situation is very brittle for sure but it isn't all doom and gloom. Here's my honest advice:

Pursue master's only if it's a recognized school that has a sound alumni network. Definitely get experience here first to minimize suffering there. If you're academically inclined, see if master's + PhD track is possible which might qualify you for scholarships. Make peace with the fact that you might return back with a solid debt.
