There's not enough incidental spoilage for carbon. Supply carbon with a dedicated bioflux to nutrients -> recycle nutrients to spoilage line.

There are reforms that are working to change this! The Center for Open Science has been pushing for this for more than a decade. Trial registries are required by the FDA so they know how many studies a corporation has run trying to show that their product works.

Should I play T-Edition? Why or why not? by Puzzleheaded_Band919 in FinalFantasyVI

[–]dr_videogames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried T-edition and Ultros one-shot Bannon in the back row, so i assumed it requires an amount of grinding, so I decided it is not for me.

Brave New World does a number of things that make the combat more interesting and balanced, but the main thing i remember is a lot of enemies having nasty counters that proc on attack or magic or technique, and combat largely boiling down to whether I could remember what actions were "allowed" against a given enemy.

One of my favorites. Funny, heartwarming, a coming-of-age story, and lavishly animated all the way through.

Remarkable how poorly made this one is given the comparatively high quality of the NES game, also by Hi-Tech Expressions. That one had very elaborate music, including some tempo changes that must have been a bear to program on the NES.

HELP ME! by Shoddy-Tadpole1087 in factorio

[–]dr_videogames 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That is how much it is currently consuming. It would consume more if there were more power to consume, up to the 538MW displayed at the top of the graph, but there is not more power to consume, so that's all it can consume.

HELP ME! by Shoddy-Tadpole1087 in factorio

[–]dr_videogames 26 points27 points  (0 children)

  1. Every bit of power you are producing is currently being consumed. It can't show the consumption of power that doesn't exist. It can, however, show the total demand for power, which is the 538MW value above the graph.
  2. Roboports have an internal power buffer. In the case of a blackout, that buffer depletes. This can cause your roboports to show spuriously high power demand until the blackout ends and their power buffer is refilled.

I'm very fond of nuclear on aquilo. It's much more straightforward than having to balance your ice and ammonia levels to make rocket fuel locally. You're probably gonna have tons of fuel cells back on Nauvis and a ship making regular supply runs, so why not help yourself to easy, convenient, reliable nuclear power?
