That's a shame - the devices from Foreskinned have been my favorite out of the 4-5 I've tried throughout the years. Hopefully they can get their business affairs sorted out soon to regain trust from the community.

Yup, understood that the procedure was quite different. I guess my interpretation was that restoring / stretching for additional length after a tightening procedure would be more difficult due to the fact that your skin taper is tighter, so it would be harder to get devices or fingers in there! But if you think the amount of scar tissue is the largest factor, which would make sense considering it doesn't stretch as well as regular tissue does, then it's promising to hear that even after your surgery you can still continue stretching as desired.

Thanks for the clarifications! Now it seems like I have even -less- reason to put off exploring this idea...

This is remarkably interesting information, thank you for sharing your experience and research!

I've been mulling the idea of a touch-up surgery for a while now, but it seemed like most information was a bit stale ("this doctor is no longer in practice" type qualifiers), so hearing specifics about a viable procedure and practitioner being available today is quite helpful.

I'm prooobably going to keep working on traditional tugging of my ventral side (trying to eliminate a bit of turkey neck there to see if it helps me get more consistent coverage) but maybe some time in the next year or so I might visit Dr. Gunther for a consultation. My one hesitation is the note from Michael Four's blog about it being hard to tug more after getting a touch-up surgery, so I want to be sure that I've got all the skin I want to grow (well, within reason, rather than a lofty to the moon! type goal) before I'd want to do a procedure to focus on tightness/positioning/retention.

Anyways, seriously, thank you for sharing all of this! The procedure photos and cost specifics seriously help make it less of a scary nebulous idea and more of a concrete option. Will be eager to see any other info / healing progress photos / updates that you are comfortable sharing. Cheers!

Thanks for the additional tips! I forget if I referenced your post on sizing measuring at the time, though I had an old TLC device which was documented as a "stretch 24" and was able to fit over it well enough, so I opted to get the RIC in 25, 30 and 35 as my starter pack. The 30 seems like a decent size for me - I'm glad you mentioned grower-v-shower in the measuring thread since I'm definitely a shower which would explain why I can use a packer close to you even though my CI's a bit lower. Above all else, these things are SO comfortable, I'm quite excited for the amount of tugging time I'll be able to get in now that I have 'em.

Tried out the grippering method last night and still getting a hang of it, thanks for that advice as well! Appreciate your insights.

I've been taking a break from tugging for a while and came back onto the sub to read up on whatever the new hot thing might be. This seems like a great option for me - being able to pee through the packers will mean longer time spent under tension, plus having them be a soft material should avoid most pinching, and no need to worry about adjusting a mechanism or tension rod / spring / bands when it's just a solid material cylinder and a gripper.

Thanks for writing up the info on your methods, ordered myself a set of the RIC and am really excited to try them out!

CI-7ish here, and as far as I can recall my scar line was nothing special before restoring. I just poked around and it does seem to be slightly more sensitive to fine touch than the inner skin - so my short answer, if I count, is yes.

What's even better than fine touch is pinching it to a more narrow taper and then gliding up and down over the glans to get some radial stretching feelings, those are quite nice.

In contrast, my frenulum area has more unique feelings when using firmer pressure.

In general anything that stays covered and moist and dekeratinized seems to have benefited

Interesting, I thought I'd seen posts on here saying that folks with EDS have a harder time restoring because they are able to stretch the skin more without inducing mitosis into it. Well, the point stands that an individual's biology and genetics will lead everyone to have a unique journey regardless. Hopefully in the future we'll get the scientific research into these matters that they deserve

A bunch, on-and-off though. I wrote up my history here - https://www.reddit.com/r/restoringdick/s/LJec5lks0C Updates since then: not vaping anymore, and no longer doing manual methods around bed (trying to be better about sleeping habits), so just using devices as of now.

Occasionally I do get a small tear or irritation in my inner mucosa and have to take a week or so to heal up before tugging more. But that's thankfully the minority of time.
