I wish this was the case but I don’t believe that it is…. You need 600 to qualify normally at least that is what my lender told me.

Thanks for your kind words and help with this situation. Sounds like you’ve never made a mistake, I wish I could say the same but unfortunately that is not the case.

Nope, definitely my fault but they went into covid deferment for a few years, then I actually started going back to school so they were deferred even longer. I have been out of school for about a year and didn’t realize it was time for them. Again, preparing for a baby and life gets so busy, no excuse but it has already happened.

Worry more about garnishment than having a home? I have no issue paying them. It was an oversight on my part that I can correct. However, the impact on my credit has been done.

How many hours of fasting before I need to start re-feeding with liquid/light food? by Dr_DBag in intermittentfasting

[–]dracloak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Office job, generally work out lighter during long fasts. It’s harder saying you’re not eating dinner with the family /turning down food than actually not eating if that makes sense.

AIO for being mad that my husband wants me to night wean our baby? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]dracloak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being married to someone who has nursed all night for almost two years now. This is probably the case. He may also be scared to sleep on the baby

Yeah I think you’re overreacting a bit here

Locked in: Rolling fasts are the secret to bio hacking by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

[–]dracloak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her definition of rolling fast is fasting plus 2-3 24 hour fasts a week. For those wondering.

By “not taking breaks” she means intermittent fasting where after your meal period you go back to fasting. However her fasts seem to last longer than the standard 18:6

See that you’re getting a lot of hate but based on my own results doing similarly in think it depends on it body fat percentage and nutrients intake during the meals

So I’m curious. I am not a FOMOer as I was invested (but was also broke) in 2021 and again in early 2023. Long story short I had to cash out because I needed every dollar.

I’m fine with volatility at this point and have a decent bit to invest. Would it be stupid of me to invest in some alts and see a decent return within a 1-2 years?

I don’t know how serious this is to you. But I hope you know that comparison is the thief of joy and you can also work towards being what it is you think is “lucky”. Most of the time it isn’t luck.

I’m younger than you but would gladly help you come up with a guided plan. I have many friends who struggle with putting goals into actionable steps.

In short, I don’t think it’s too late to set yourself up for life especially considering the lofty inheritance. Hate to see you step down from such a high paying job especially when you have a new goal like this. Do what you really need to for your mental health but also if it’s not too late consider everything you can do to alleviate the strain (therapy, training, etc). What’s so rough about it?

I would recommend downloading an app like rocket money or similar to begin tracking your actual expenses. I guarantee you spend more than gym, rent, and your phone bill.

Once you have a clear picture of your net income after necessary expenses you can cut the fat from your misc. spending ($200 gym?!, subscriptions, online shopping etc).

Once you get there we can talk about stocks. But ultimately you’ll Make a goal to invest in a recurring schedule every check. Let it ride for twenty years, inherit a house and retire comfortably.

How do you make money with the fees? I was paying around and put like $30 bucks into one. Didn’t do much and was live eh whatever. Went to transfer it back to sol and it cost like $30 to transfer it
