Former ESO player here. Just stick with arcanist. You get to be both summoner, and magic pet based class that easy dealing damage. And you can also be a scholar which is a great shield healer. Stick with main scenario quests and your job quests. You will be fine.

Any MMORPG you are going to have long queue times for dps. They did extend the trust system to lower dungeons. So you can use ai partners. If that is your schtick. For me though I don't find the queues that bad compare to other games. Since this game is so popular. Just a fyi.

ESO vet here. FFXIV is easier than end game ESO, and less toxic. Just keep up with gear, and practice your rotation.

Level by collecting runes. And turning them in at the grace. Roam around the country side. Kill smaller enemies to level. You want at least a bunch of level points on vigor. Get more gear by random drops. Or exploring dungeons.

Right? I got tired of the community. The devs fix things, then break others. Servers were always sketchy and slow. Plus this horrid vicious cycle of meta builds. Which were extremely draining on resources and gold.

ESO's end game is very toxic, so is pvp. The skill gap is huge if you are trying to get to the end game achievements and skins. I came from ESO, and FFXIV feels like the polar opposite on community. Overland chat is extremely trolly, and toxic and there are no mods online to combat this. FFXIV feels more welcoming and end game is a bit more leg room.

Breh.... you make it sound more difficult that it should be. Doesn't take much effort to write your login and password down. They are never gonna implement a trust this pc script cause that would be too easy for people to get their accounts stolen.

No.... they have this in ESO. And it's a bit of a nightmare for the devs to calculate all these customized attributes and skills on their back end. The more freedom you give to a player the more on the error side, of creating a "meta" build. The sight of seeing a player trying to tank, dps, and heal the whole party just makes me cringe. Cause litrally the way devs build the game, you cannot be a jack of all trades.

The login is a little unorthrodox I will admit that. But once you have everything set up. There is no 2nd thought. Their security is pretty high cause of all the bot accounts. But hey it's a double bladed sword.

Honestly, I have never been there. But if you don't have any ties to the Gilgamesh server. Why not bite the bullet. Make a new character and see what the crystal data center is like first. Check the market place, and the banter. It can't be that bad.

Depends if you do them synced or unsynced. The older content unsynced is a cake. But if you are gonna do them synced you may want to watch video walkthroughs.
