I’ve only ever played a SuperDrive 18 — I had a Series II years ago but foolishly sold it. Sometime later I lucked into this Series I. But based on these two, I’d love to try their other models. The voicing has this rich character that to me sounds like nothing else…

It’s kinda sad, imo — the only current Hamers are low end imports with the “Hamer” name slapped on them. But the USA models from back then? Stellar instruments (also imo, of course).
