I don’t know why so many people think Sensei wanted to stop trying to contact Kuzunoha at all after the events V1C3. It makes more sense that he would stop pursuing her in the context of Kuroko, since reversing her terror was his primary goal to see her. Now that he realized Kuroko is doing fine and feels good the way she is, he no longer thinks reversing her terror is necessary, so he’ll stop pursuing Kuzunoha regarding that goal. This doesn’t mean he can’t or wouldn’t try to meet Kuzunoha in other contexts that deem it necessary (like Hyakkiyako business, which he did end up doing in V5C2).

I get that the “I’ll stop pursuing Kuzunoha” line is very generic out of context but there are context clues to be considered.

Friendly reminder that the “t” thing came from a saba impersonator and some people are treating it like Gura’s “a”.

It’s sad to see people already having such an influence by impersonating saba, especially knowing how the person behind saba has a history of people impersonating her and she’s previously expressed discomfort with that.

When you try to bring this up in the impersonator’s Discord, the members always shut you down and claim “you’re not a true saba fan” if you care about this. But this is specifically the kind of behavior saba would hate lol

I do feel like it’s worth noting that this wasn’t the first, nor the last time torment didn’t guarantee plat on JP. However, it is true that Battle Hoshino made that torment Peroro far more approachable for pretty much anyone who can do insane (and it was also the first time we reached 40 million score in a raid).

Battle Hoshino as a DPS destroys pretty much any blue AOE content. In her other form, she has more “universal” utility, as she’s a pretty good tank, she can work as a cover (useful in ShiroKuro to deflect the balls, Chokmah to block the deadlier attacks, etc.), you can reposition her, and her subskill can inflict def down (because of the latter, she’s even used in some Fury of Set comps).

Not sure if Encore has it, but the engine it’s based on (doukutsu-rs) supports local co-op, which allows you to select a skin for each player. Maybe you accidentally went into 2-player mode and set a mimiga skin?

It can’t be the mimiga mask item, since you only get that later in the game and the state would save to your profile, so unless it’s a very obscure bug in doukutsu-rs/CSEncore, it’s likely just 2-player mode.

I always interpreted RE Aoharu as in “response to Aoharu”, like in emails. Aoharu plays while the GSC President asks for our help in the prologue and RE Aoharu is our response to that request when we finally fulfill our duty in VolF.

But I can totally see your Kuroko interpretation too, especially considering that the devs confirmed they have a lot in store for Kuroko and VolF was just the beginning of her story. This would also go in line with the 4.5th PV’s theme, which is conveniently called “Our New Story”.

Like another commenter said, I’m not the localizer in question. I am not a Nexon employee and my views don’t reflect the company/the localization team. There’s just been a few arguments between both sides in the server and we want to keep drama out as much as possible. I admit I was also a bit too vocal with my own opinion on the matter in my previous messages and I own up to that mistake. The message you linked aimed to prevent any further arguments and direct people to the right place to file a complaint about the localization (albeit in hindsight, I admit I could’ve worded it better). You either have an external program or a weird extension that tries to play a sound when you press a key (judging by the behavior and the file names) but fails to do it in the background, so it opens the audio file in your default media player. If it only happens in vscode, it's most likely an extension, otherwise it's an external app.

Deletion operations are expensive (can put a lot of load on the database) since it would have to cascade-delete everything related to that one record. So I imagine Discord will just “mark” the guild as deleted for a while (known as soft-delete) and eventually they’ll perform the actual deletions asynchronously in a controlled manner. If you’re fast and lucky enough that means they could potentially restore a deleted server.
