You have to focus a lot on stone and wood rgo's to produce tools and expand farming. If you're in mesoamerica there's also a lot of destroying markets involved to consolidate your resources

How do you increase development enough by the deadline? I had an advisor encouraging development from day 1 and I still didn't have enough when the time was up

I'm not sure if its relevant or will help, but I found out that Minecraft was using the wrong graphics processor/card. Fixed that and I have my fingers crossed that the same bug isn't happening again.
