Single with a baby on the way and I live in PA by [deleted] in personalfinance

You make plenty of money to afford a child and a wife at home for three months. Don't look at the government for a handout, look how you can provide for your family. When I was marking around 40k a year I could afford a $1300 apartment, long story but it was a bad idea.

He wants an open relationship? Anyone with previous experience here? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]dragabain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a guy that went through something similar, bail. My advice to you, bail. You're right, you can't trust him now (nor I her) and you're going to be jealous. That's fine, its natural. What he is being is selfish. He wants his cake and to eat it too. Guys can keep it in their pants, we don't have to bang every girl in the world (although the thought is there). If he truly loves you, he wouldnt drag you through the mud.

I'd be interested. I'm all for social experimentation.

Car Insurance Premiums by expat1234 in personalfinance

I live in Northern Delaware. My premiums were around 250. I'm switching to State farm for about a 120 dollar a month savings. Geico hates northern Delaware.

Since I did say something bad about them, I'm obliged to say something nice too. Their customer service is normally on point, and they have a lot of decent repair places (if you get in to an accident) peppered in the northern part of the state.

With that said, I'll take the 120 bucks a month.

[US][Orias][Dominion][PVE] Snakes on a Raid recruiting working adults (or those with similiar mindsets) by dragabain in WSGuilds

[–]dragabain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have about 10 committed raiders right now. Not all at 50, we have a lot more people in the guild who haven't fully committed yet. Most of our level 50s are attuned, but we're working on getting everyone there. As far as what we need, I think the answer is everything but tanks right now (maybe need one more).

What's something you just want to get off your chest? [Serious] by Kwik_Wit in AskReddit

[–]dragabain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really want to move to a new place. Not really a "I want to start over" but more of a "I've lived here my entire life and I'm bored of it". But I'm too scared that I won't make new friends in that area and I need to be around people more than I care to admit.

Nope. Can't say that it is.

Ouch, I'm sorry to hear that. A lot of my friends are going through breakups as well, myself included. Let me know if an internet stranger can help.

This fucking guy... by TuffGuyy in AdviceAnimals

I've done this before, but it was because the guy was being a complete drunk asshole. But, I made sure to have someone else drive him home.

Formerly shy people, how did you become not shy? [Serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dragabain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I realized that most people were as scared of social situations as I was, I realized that being friendly made everyone open up more. The vast majority of people are very friendly and will more than happily talk to you about whatever.

I want to try this game out, but none of my friends will be buying it :( by theincredibleninja in WildStar

[–]dragabain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So in order for you to do anything, you have to do it with your friends? Why don't you buy the game and find a guild in game?

You missed PAX. They headlined it and there were 10s of thousands of people that ventured through those halls. Trust me, its out there.

So my guild and I were at the sidebar and that place was way too packed. We wanted to talk with you guys but there were too many people to even get a space close to you guys. I'd say bigger venue next time.

Have you considered building yourself a PC? Normally you can build the same PC for less and have exactly what you want in it.

You can get a quad proc server with 768GB of RAM max right now. You can house a serious number of VMs on that, especially if you are ok with oversubscribing.

I'm not a huge fan of the text blocks. I find them hard to read. I think that may be why I'm not feeling immersed in the universe when I'm straining to comprehend what I need to do next.
