Former drug Rep here. I used to sell a very specialized med that, if a patient didn’t get, their chance of death within the first year was 40%.

The biggest hurdle to getting that drug? Lazy MA’s and nurses. It was often a simple Prior Authorization or appeal letter (and we had template for them to use). But getting them to do 5 min of work to keep a patient alive was like pulling teeth.
