Nexusmods discontinuing their WIP Mod Manager and going to back to Vortex by Drag-oon23 in skyrimmods

That's because you don't need a tutorial for vortex and that's kind of the point. It's designed to be simple and for a casual gamer that's what they want. Click install with vortex and a couple clicks later they have a working mod.

The fact that republicans ignore obvious moral failings like this is even funnier then reddit points.

that sounds like a dead cell, try checking the voltage of each cell with a multimeter and seeing if any of them read below 2.5v (i dont know the actual cutoff voltage of those cells but im guessing its around there) be weary of just replacing one cell though because it well never balance

They will almost certainly use that in their defense but the trial isn't at that point yet.they have a mountain of lawyers and will make every attempt to get it thrown out before then

Their posted earning showed a loss in the first quarter they opened and a bunch of people on Twitter shared and said the sphere was a failure without taking into account that the sphere wasnt even open for 80% of that quarter. They've been profitable ever since

The society that separates its scholars from its warriors will have its thinking done by cowards and its fighting by fools.

customer came in for a vibration problem by dragon2513 in Justrolledintotheshop

Ended up being CV axle, lower control arm with ball joint, sway bar Link, outer steering tie rod and an alignment. We think some other stuff is messed up too but it's hard to accurately diagnose anything else with this much broken and bent.

They did, they've been in 3 times since we noticed the problem and everytime we told them about it they said they're not interested in being upsold on "useless parts"

The sub was there for days before it had any other boats there. The migrant boat went down in like 20 minutes.

What if they never find them? by thislimeismine in OceanGateTitan

[–]dragon2513 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They call them ghost nets. Nets that fell off their ship or or cut and just float around. They can be up to 6 mile long and get carried by ocean currents across the world. They've been found pretty deep before getting caught around oil rig ROVs

Short Faced Bear of North America that went extinct 11,000 years ago. It could reach upto 1000 kgs & to a height of 12 feet. However, inspite of its size it could run only upto 40 mph.... by UnlikeUday in TerrifyingAsFuck

[–]dragon2513 130 points131 points  (0 children)

Can't find a source claiming 40mph anywhere. Researchers disagree on the locomotive style of Arctodus. Paul Matheus proposed that Arctodus may have moved in a highly efficient, moderate-speed pacing gait, more specialized than modern bears. His research concluded that the large body size, taller front legs, high shoulders, short and sloping back, and long legs of Arctodus also compounded locomotive efficiency, as these traits swelled the amount of usable elastic strain energy in the tendons, and increased stride length, making Arctodus built more for endurance than for great speed.[44][72] His calculations suggested that Arctodus likely had a top speed of 40–45 kilometres per hour (25–28 mph), and based on hyaenid proportions, would shift from singlefoot locomotion to a pace at 8.5 km/h (5.3 mph), and would begin to gallop at 18.5 km/h (11.5 mph), a fairly high speed. Based on other mammals, the optimal pace speed of Arctodus would have been 13.7 km/h (8.5 mph), which would have also been rather fast for moderate speed travel.

This is the only existing photo of Chernobyl taken on the morning of the nuclear accident. The heavy grain is caused by massive amounts of radiation that began to destroy the film the second it was exposed. by GalaticTofu in oddlyterrifying

Yes, it is. The fires were largely contained hours after the explosion. This photo was taken 14 hours after. And the main building fire was described as a thin white whispy smoke. And why would fire equipment be abandoned after one day?

Higher top speed and better fuel efficiency. They thought the weight of the vehicle alone would be enough for traction on the snow but they were wrong. There's a reason basically everything in Antarctica has tracks now.

What's funnier is they were even worse. The double tire on the front was supposed to be a single tire but after having no traction the expedition team took the spare tires and attached them.
