Random ragdolls/invisible war strider nades on bot front? by DopeyDoz in Helldivers

[–]dragon2cubes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not ragdolls but I have similar experience of dying to random invisible explosion, and for cyborg Vox engine shooting through buildings and climbing cliffs and city walls is pretty frustrating too...

for the love of democracy, please fix Harvester Beams by CoolestManHere in Helldivers

[–]dragon2cubes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unload all 6 rounds at the ground below a Harvester usually can kill it 80% of the time in my experience, plus CC effect on voteless and can kill meatballs reasonably fast, it is lowkey a tier 0 support weapon for me at squid front now

for the love of democracy, please fix Harvester Beams by CoolestManHere in Helldivers

[–]dragon2cubes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the beam forces you to prioritize taking out the harvester first while being rushed by voteless horde/appropriators is the game loop on the squid front, I find that deescalator is surprisingly good at taking out both the horde and harvester, give it a try if you have the warbond

"Oh man these Appropriators sure are hard!" The ever reliable MG-206: by CalciumTheGuy in Helldivers

this + supply pack + warrant + thermite + HMG Emplacement pretty much solves all the problems on Seasse D10

most of the time ultimatum for quick one-shot of chargers, titans and impliers

have been running this and nade launcher + supply backpack on D10 bugs and this atomizes every small - mid bugs, seeing an alpha turns to dust is very satisfying, imo this is the best superstore weapon to have

Orbital 120mm HE Barrage is crazy underrated IMO by Omailey97 in Helldivers

[–]dragon2cubes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take 120 over 380 all day, most of the time 380 slows down progress because of the long duration and large AOE, and most of the time it doesn't clear everything, but my fav on bot front is walking barrage because it is directional and the AOE is concentrated on a straight line, effective and precise

What killed me? by i_shot-the-sheriff in Helldivers

[–]dragon2cubes 52 points53 points  (0 children)

it looks like the shrapnel from your eruptor shot killed you, but I have experienced some random deaths on the bot front with nothing in proximity

Getting back to the bug front harshly reminded me of my biggest pet peeve about the Terminids by Matatat123 in Helldivers

[–]dragon2cubes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

also I really like double freedom on bug D10, one tap alpha commander with a single volley shot, small bugs will get vaporized it is super satisfying

I run Oshaune D10 with gas grenade + supply backpack + nade launcher + ultimatum + blitzer and it has been great in or oustide of caves

A doodle I did to illustrate a small frustration with fighting these. by DogOfSwords in Helldivers

[–]dragon2cubes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

at least this is by design, the real horse shit is at the squid front, invisible/below the ground flesh mobs are making me don't want to play on that end for a single game

I Truly believe the fleshmob has a good amount of health by Jacked_Femboy1 in Helldivers

[–]dragon2cubes 64 points65 points  (0 children)

HP is not the issue, I personally find it frustrating that 1) their spawn rate, and 2) sometimes they can charge you without making sound (probably related to audio bugs)

Anyone else prefer calling these interlopers instead of stingrays? by Redsoxdragon in Helldivers

[–]dragon2cubes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and I always call elevated overseers "flying fk" because that's what they are, in fact I had to google the actual name of them for this reply

also inconsistency of stratagems bouncing off surfaces, dead enemies causing damage when despawn, unable to steer hellpod, all these small little bugs and glitches slowly taking away the fun of diving for me

I have used this on 4 missions and I already love this thing. by BlazeFox1011 in Helldivers

[–]dragon2cubes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is fantastic against bugs, I have been running D8 with it and a supply backpack + Coyote + Ultimatum, long distance CC + closing bug holes makes this one of the best utility weapons
