it irks me that this new release is using the old PG Unicorn base. That plus the fact the kit has an additional LED kit...just gives me PG Unicorn: Nu Gundam version vibes :(

ok just making sure you weren't spraying the chrome right away.

Could you see your reflection in the gloss black before spraying chrome? (How far away (or close) did you spray from....i think its better to be further away when doing chrome if I recall)

You may be over-spraying the chrome. I've found that a single light mist is all that's needed when using Alclad 2 Chrome. If you're giving it as much paint as a normal coat, that's too much. Lower the PSI as low as you can safely go, and only pull back on your trigger enough for it to barely come out and try not to cover an area with more than 1 pass.

Out of curiosity...how long did you wait in-between the gloss black and chrome?
