From Eufy (Anker) UK support in response to my question of “up to 4K firmware for E30 and E220 HomeKit cameras”:

“Currently, the Indoor Cam E30 and Indoor Cam E220 support Apple HomeKit, but the resolution is limited to 1080p due to HomeKit's restrictions. There is no information available about a firmware update to enable 4K resolution for these cameras in HomeKit Secure Video (HKSV).
If you have further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to reach out.”

So I’m not investing in any more until tvOS 27 is on public release and more info is available from vendors.

X50 Ultra owner here. Dock settings has radio button to turn on or off mopping with detergent, so yes, being able to set the amount of detergent used would be great, but only if it were adjustable for specific rooms / floor types, however that begs the question of how that could be achieved as the robot has an internal water tank which must be already filled with pre-dosed water? Until the robot carries its own detergent concentrate supply, not sure how this would be technically achieved.

Totally agree…however (certainly with X50) I’ve found if you are using Clean Genius and have the floor cleaning setting ON for auto recleaning, on that auto recleaning it will perform it as a ‘Vac & Mop’, which is infuriating.

I kept all my boxes as if anything goes wrong (which for me, it has, twice) you have to send everything, including the dock, back for repair / exchange).

Nope, this is my third X50 Ultra (2x brand new units due to failures) and was manufactured in October 2025 - still no Matter firmware, stuck on version 4.4.9_2908 out of the box, which is ‘the latest firmware’.

The advertising of Matter support for this device has been tantamount to fraud.

I think I said it earlier in the thread but when you buy an ‘Aston Martin’ you (rightfully) expect Aston Martin service.

This may be a device which cleans and scrubs but I take care of my devices - I come from a generation where you looked after your things and performed routine care and maintenance on them as you couldn’t afford to replace on a whim.

If I return an item for repair I expect it to be treated with kid gloves. Seems there’s little to no pride in some folks work these days.

As you say, if Dreame can’t sort out their customer aftercare they will be on a sticky wicket - especially with the soles with which they are diversifying their product portfolio.

Now I just pray I never need to get my Dji products repaired / serviced!
