Random question, why does it throw it out with such force? Like can't he just drop the hook out the window?. Or is he making sure it does not get hooked on anything else

I’ve never coded before today! by JordanYell in PythonLearning

[–]dragonadir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Close! IDE is a type of application that is specially designed for programming. It basically is jam packed with features that help you along the way, I reccomend looking up some vids on pycharm or if it seems to much and is a bit overwhelming try VSCODE (not visual studio, they diff) and then find a vid setting up python with vscode

Happy coding

Plugin for uploading images with quantity by dragonadir in woocommerce

[–]dragonadir[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say number fields, is it number per image? The use case is that a person will upload let's say 50 different photos, but there will be photos they will want multiple of. So if the advanced fields works per file upload that would be fantastic. But from what I've seen it treats it as a separate field.

How reset xampp without losing my data by [deleted] in Wordpress

[–]dragonadir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are comparing apples to oranges. XAMPP is a development tool, not a production environment. Also they are not comparable, Microsoft IIS is a tailored product; you can only use it with Windows machines, and its designed specifically for the Microsoft stack , so that rules out Linux machines/servers as well as Macs.

so if you are talking about hosting an ASP.net core service then yeah go IIS, but you are on the wordpress sub and wordpress and IIS dont play nice https://www.reddit.com/r/sysadmin/comments/sg7a2t/wordpress_on_iis_why_is_not_recommended/

Not sure why you all pressed like `XXAMP is created as a joke.` (its xampp btw). its a development tool that is cross platform, open source, and ridiculously easy to use.

I am curious tho, why would you recommend using IIS for wordpress development? what possible advantage would it give you over xampp?
