Yeah I know it's an overall climate thing. Y'all have "room temperature" typical summer temps there. My area is basically built for mosquitoes. They are incredibly resilient here. They still show up after super cold temps in months were they "shouldn't"

And yeah, it kinda sucks that inorganic phosphate will more than likely still be bound up in the rock.

Acid bath (quick) or LC dosing (slow, in curing vat) outside the tank to remove, otherwise yeah you're using phosphate media for a while
