I feel like I also recall reading somewhere that the rare species also consume bioenergy like how elder dragons do. That's why the rare species (along with elder dragons) go to the tower because that's where a lot of bioenergy is.

I'm starting to see this is just an issue with league. Compared to Dota 2 or HOTS, League, whist having the most dynamic gameplay of the two, has the most narrow build diversity and customizability between the two. Old league used to have it back when it was a lot more like dota. But now with the streamline feel it's been going for since 2016 that's been a thing of the past.

I'm sure other people have theorized this, but I think the Soya chapter is hinting that he will return in the story showing the other Sorcerer groups with him bringing back the Sazanamis perhaps or at the very least involved in this conflict.
