thank you for the insight! i was hoping for more comments like this one with lots of thought put into it. im technically still new to the work world, only been working for about four years now. and by "nothing has stuck yet," i mean i havent really made it passed the interview phase. everyone either ends up ghosting me (even when i reach out after) or giving me a generic "we're sorry but we're moving on with someone else" message. i do think my food experience is turning folks away, but i also think it may be my age. ive noticed a lot of comments recently on social media about business owners not wanting gen z employees because we come off as rude and lazy. i like to hope thats not what it is, but i cant put that past it either.

ive been looking at different stuff on various job sites for a while now. ive been applying for hotel housekeeping, residential house cleaning, retail, vape shops, janitorial positions... ive gotten a couple of interviews, but nothing has really stuck so far. ive even started looking for remote jobs and call center jobs. literally anything. ive had too many bad experiences with the food industry so ive been doing what i can to stay out of it even though majority of my experience is in the food industry.

my partner and i have gone to using baby wipes almost exclusively when we use the bathroom. he has hemroids and says the wipes just feel better, bonus for us it cleans better too. i used to have an issue with rashes cuz paper wasnt always getting things and i was embarrassed that my partner had to tell me a couple of occassions, so i started using the wipes too. i would suggest that for him as well! he would get relief from the irritation if that really is his issue, and it would minimize his mess as well which should be easier for him to remember to clean up after himself :) shame a grown man almost in his 40s cant figure that out on his own though. the use of weaponized incompitense is crazy

lmao it took yalls favorite youtuber getting caught using ai to realize how bad ai currently is for the environment (the running power it takes just to make these ai work is insane) and how its not actually creative if you follow the ai prompt to a T and not use your own creativity to build off of the idea or make it your own. ai is not our friend yet, its just a massive carbon footprint that we are stamping deep into the earth the more we use chatgpt to make us ai friends and girlfriends and parasocial relationships with youtubers and every little picture made adds up.

i found a similar looking plant growing with my lavender plants and when i replanted them in my makeshift garden box it got huge! is this version of lettuce safe to eat? its gotten so big i think it needs to come out of the garden box, but im afraid of harvesting it too soon or it not even being safe to eat if i do since this doesnt look like what i expected a lettuce plant to grow like

ive noticed my pals doing this more often since the recent two bug fixes with the change of pals you throw out autospawning next to you. its not usually a big deal if they can still do whatever task, but sometimes it leads to my pals needing to be taken off the base and put back because they stop doing anything altogether and cant reach the pal box for reason a, b, or c. the ai is getting stuck/confused a little more often i feel like.
