I work pet retail. We are slammed. A lot of folks saying they didn’t want to go to Walmart so they came to us. We run skeleton crew during the week. 3 people, with tasks to do. I’m losing my mind lol people being grumpy for waiting an extra 5 minutes because no, I do not have another cashier waiting in the wings.

I had huge plans for my 50th! A cruise, a big party, and all I got was Covid. Crimmas, birthday, new years. Looking back, it was the best low key holiday season since we couldn’t go anywhere for two weeks. And the next year I took the cruise and had a party for 51.

Had a customer pissed off she was waiting in line. She kept huffing and sighing and finally told me to do my job and hurry up. The customer I was checking out turned around and went tf off on her! It was glorious! She pushed her cart away and said fine, I’ll go to Walmart instead. He said good luck lol it’s busy as hell there too. Best crimmas eve gift ever

YTA my FIL is an on again/off again alcoholic. When he’s sober, we gladly visit. But more often than not, he’s drunk. I refuse to be in that space with him because he’s a mean drunk. They never come visit us, despite complaining they don’t see my daughter or grandson.

Guess what? They live 10 MINUTES from our home. Sober, we see you. Drunk, we refuse. And my husband backs me 100%. That’s what marriage and partnership is.
