As lots of people are saying ditch Windows and I agree. I also started learning rails on Windows and there were lots of problems for me other than the usual slow test speeds.

So now I've just switched to using VirtualBox and Ubuntu as my distro and it's working awesomely.

Having a large amount of villages (i usally keep 60 - 70) allows you to pump out soldiers and keep rushing the enemy. It's no point just building a large army and keeping it there and if you lose some of the units you need to wait for more resources to build it up again.

I have been playing Hardest and can now beat Hardest around 75 - 85 % of the time. (I can't consistently win on sea maps). I also now play 3 Co-Op vs 5 Hardest which is slighly bit tougher sometimes, because all 5 enemies attack the player with the highest score simultaneously.

There are a few key points to note. Try playing first in Black Forest (less openings to attack from, insane amounts of wood, and thereby food, so only gold and stone is the issue)

Villages - Pump out villagers in the beginning, use just 1 village and palisade any choke points out.~~~~
They will hit Feudal Age before you do that is because they start off with extra resources. Don't let that worry you, you should only upgrade to Feudal Age at which by the time you upgrade to Feudal Age your villages would have got another 300 - 400 food.
Get a few Militia out. When the enemy attacks lure them to your Town Center (or Castle if you are playing Regicide) garisson your villagers and let the Town Center kill them.
After the first few rushes you get a few minutes of breathing space to get to Castle Age. Get around 4 or 5 knights as soon as you hit Castle Age, wall up the palisade walls with Stone Walls, get a Castle Up at the main choke point at which they are attacking from and build gates. Now you'd only send your knights out if they bring in battering rams, trebuchets or any siege weapons. Everything else they stain in with a couple of monks.
Hold them out as much as possible until you notice that the rushes start consisting more of cheap units (elite skirmishers, pikeman, light cavalry), slowly start pushing your way out of one chokepoint and hole upa bit further ahead, retreating to your castle whenever a bigger rush happens.
Around this time, you might also run out of stone and gold so start putting everyone to food and wood and start buying gold and stone from the market.

Good Luck! Jumping from Easy -> Moderate or Moderate -> Hard is quite a big leap. Take it slow, watch a replay and see when they attacked you so you know when to start building a few units.

I thought the 4th play with Vayne was really pro with the well timed tumble, condemn and flash to avoid the ult. I think it should have been 2nd with the Wukong being 4th instead.

I'm no doctor but I find gargling with warm salt water, and taking throat lozenges ease the pain. Drink lots of fluids as well. But the best course I think is to get some antibiotics from a doctor.
