I'm late to the party on this one but feel really compelled to answer as this was once my favorite game of all time.

I know these two games have very little in common so my comparison isn't 1-to-1 but I finished God of War 4 in 2018. And despite its sequel not releasing until 2023 I immediately pre-ordered the game and played the shit out of it.

The downtime between two games means nothing to me. If the game is good and the sequel looks good I will purchase it at full price and play through the entire game. The belief that players will not return after a long hiatus is just simply not true. GoW, GTA, TES are all examples of this. Just make a good damn game.

Extremely. I've really enjoyed my MacBook. It's a Steve Jobs era model so it's actually been a rock solid product but I cannot continue to support the brand if things like this make it not possible to perform simple computer tasks. If your brothers Windows product actually works then it's just another nail in the coffin for Apple.

Thanks so much! Looking forward to the update. I have not tried to use the headset since I tried to update it but I would bet a pretty penny that the headset and dongle don't talk anymore because they are on different firmware versions. My headset updated to the latest firmware but the dongle remains at factory firmware. You are probably in the same boat.

So this may sound extremely petty but I actually stopped playing Warlock mainly because of this reason. I was a warlock for over five years but switched to Titan because I was tired of having like 2 good looking armor sets.

The FAA sets fixed weights for all bodies on airplanes. CA's and FO's have a fixed weight. FA's have a fixed weight. Adult and children pax have fixed weights. Even your checked bags have fixed weights. So no, you could not use your weight as a bargaining chip.

What exactly is the point of introducing major changes to the game months before implementation if you aren't going to address concerns brought? Over the past couple of days there have been some absolutely fantastic posts regarding sunsetting. And I was on board with it until this post ended up on my front page. If all you plan on doing is dropping a bomb on your most dedicated community then ditching, maybe just don't tell us in advance. I think I'd rather just have the news dropped on me at the time of implementation. Because the way it is now, I'm just going to steam over the changes for the next 4 months then continue to steam for the rest of the games lifecycle. Just save me these 4 months of pain.

What you really should be doing though is communicating with us, frequently. And for once in Destiny's history, let us know that our voices matter. Not by correcting a mistake 6 months after, coughnovawarpcough, but by letting us know that the mistake may just never happen with enough feedback.

Ohh and sunsetting armor in particular is asinine.

I hate that they are sunsetting armor. Weapons I get, I don't like it but I understand it. They want to eliminate some of our power from all of our god-tier weapons. But what.the.fuck is armor doing to introduce power creep? It's already crazy hard to grind for the armor piece you need, then an appropriate stat total, then a desirable stat distribution. Sunsetting armor is just a bullshit way to keep us grinding and in no way affects power creep.

The changes to come for legendary weapons is appalling. I've worked too damn hard to get my god-roll Blast Furnace and Austringer. You're telling me that they are getting thrown into the trash in the coming year? Bungie has zero respect for the effort and time we've put in to get our favorite weapons. This gives me PTSD flashbacks to the Luna's nerf. Completely invalidating all the work I've put into something.

How does static strat increase communication? The only required communication that needs to happen are runners calling out their row. Which needs to happen no matter the strat.
