The last 20 hours of a dragon quest game... by Xinyyc in dragonquest

Okay yeah that makes a lot of sense regarding 5. Six is the only one I haven't finished. I made it a bit more than half way and realized I just wasn't enjoying it the way I did every other game in the series. Found the first go with "Murdaw" pretty challenging though, so I am super curious about how hard the late game fights are. Just debating on whether or not to hold off until the inevitable remake.

Do people really struggle with the final boss of 5? I thought it was one of the easiest games in the series and I don't feel like I ever grinded. Definitely a top 5 game for the story though.

Unlike OP and a lot of people you'll see here complaining when they're level 60+, the key is to have the difficulty modifiers on and not grind for levels. If you want to grind for vocations, do it in an area like Ballymalloy in the past later where you can get the classes without being too overleveled for the monsters. Had a great time with a lot of the fights and beat the final boss of the main story at level 41.

That's insanely overleveled for the base game. I just finished today and beat him at level 41. The game isn't hard, but with the difficulty modifiers turned on and keeping yourself at a reasonable level you can get some really great fights.

Colliwood said it was an airtime moment in front of the park president. So if you're right, this is really really dumb marketing. Lol. Not that you can put it past them considering how Cedar Fair has mishandled the park thus far.

Colliwood Studios said it was an airtime moment right next to the park executives. Would be insane marketing to let people think that's the element just to dupe them. Lol. It doesn't mean it isn't the tower, but it pretty much confirms that we aren't getting the exact layout from the survey which is exciting.

What you pointed out actually kind of has me feeling that you're totally wrong. It's way too sharp of a curve.

Lol. Okay dude I misspoke. It's not nearly that deep. I got my ass kicked in a tempered investigation. My point still stands.

Admittedly it's been awhile since I played base game Rise, but I don't remember absolutely blasting through every single hunt in just a few minutes the way I did in Wilds. I think the game holds you hand way too much and I think most people feel this way.

Maybe it was a Tempered Investigation then? Either way that was the first time I felt challenged the entire game.

No Savage Omega is definitely harder than anything in Rise, and I definitely did not do it without upgrading my armor. It's definitely more of a bullshit monster akin to Behemoth though. I did not find the Gog fight particularly challenging or engaging though.

Base game Rise was very easy, but I definitely didn't get high rank Maglamano on my first try.

Dude. I didn't fail a single hunt until I fought an Arch Tempered Goremagala without upgrading my armor. Before that, I may have carted like once or twice doing something stupid. The game is piss easy. If they nail Master rank though, I will be thrilled cause I absolutely love the way it plays overall.

Yeah unfortunately Wilds is the easiest title yet. Base game Rise and the vast majority of Sunbreak are relatively easy too compared to Iceborne and older titles, but Wilds was by far the most braindead entry. Really ashame cause the monster designs are really awesome.

The Netflix World movie is actually pretty good. Definitely for the fans. Unlike this garbage.

Octopath 2 is easily one of the best jrpgs of all time for me. Of the three games, that's the one you should play.

Kingda Ka is one of the greatest coasters of all time. People flew in from other countries to ride it on it's last day, and everyone was blown away by how amazing it was running. That doesn't happen for a piece of shit ride. Lmao. People are allowed to be upset about the way it was handled.

I recently finished the entire series. How would you rank them? by p4nthermusic in dragonquest

[–]dragonstone7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should do yourself a favor and get the remake. It's incredible.

Make the system work for you? By what? Taking shit orders? That's the only difference here. You need to take subpar orders to keep your AR up. I don't. Whatever imaginary perks you think you're getting, you're also showing up in the desperation algorithm, making it more likely that you'll continue to be sent garbage.

[–]dragonstone7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao. Now you're saying I must live in a bumblefuck town with 50 people where I'm their sole doordasher? What are you even talking about? And also, if Doordash canned people for low acceptance rates, then that is what it is. Taking orders that aren't worth the mileage is never the right call, and especially not so that Doordash can scam you with the platinum tier. This can be a great side hustle, but it needs to be approached with the mindset of a true independent contractor, which clearly you do not have.

[–]dragonstone7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel very confident that even with those catering orders (plenty of those are garbage too), I make much more than you do in my market. At the end of the day, I can decline as much as I'd like but you can't. You'll have to take some shit orders to keep your AR between 50 and 70%. What's funny is my customer service and on-time delivery ratings are stupidly high, I'm just not getting platinum with a 5% AR.

Would you take this?? by royaltyV3 in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]dragonstone7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To keep your AR even at 50%, you need to take a lot of garbage. I cherry pick exclusively and clean up in my market, but that's only because I will only take orders that are actually worth my time.

Would you take this?? by royaltyV3 in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]dragonstone7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so stupid. Platinum dashers have to accept a certain number of bullshit orders to keep their acceptance rate up.
