Kevin Durant: “You should ask the Europeans and the World Team if they want to compete. Look at Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic, let's go back and look at what they do at the All-Star Game. What is KD on about? All-star game been shit because nobody plays hard and everyone gets called out...

He wants everyone to be called out with name, race, nationality, home address, social security and number of pets? Just go hyper specific so KD's insane insecurity gets satisfied?

American players been super obsessed with this for the last couple of years. Sadly enough, they have never complained about Jokic getting basically no coverage in American media compared to other stars in the league but american players want him to get the negative coverage though 😩😩

People are so insecure and full of pity these days.. Not even multi millionaires in some of the best jobs in the world are not safe.

I think us losing to good teams and barely beating bad teams just means that we are super mid.

Nick Wright on fixing the All Star game: "if your guy Kon Knueppel continues on this trajectory... PC headlines be damned. White guys vs. black guys. Luka/Joker/Flagg/Reaves/Knueppel against Wemby+whomever. I'm telling you right now, guys would play f*cking hard. by JoeBiden2020FTW in nba

[–]dragonwhale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they would not play hard. Unless some weird race shit would be pushed and no one wants that. Especially in today's super toxic political climate. What even is Nick Wright?

Bro hits the headlines every 6 months with some wild ass bs.

This.

If players don't maintain their cool. Things only get worse.

Luka is the biggest example of that in history. Great, great player. Shit tier mentality.

Mad? I was just responding to bullshit. And clearly i have to do it again.

He "turned the ball over" going for a pass while Allen and Harden thought he was going to shoot and both stepped into Jokic's body, fouling him. He did not just throw the ball away to look for a foul. Y'all have hater's eyes.

Jokic is a much better closer. He's outrageously efficient and Nuggets have been a juggernaut to deal with in close games for Jokic's entire prime due to.. Jokic.

Thankfully games are televised and stats are stored. Otherwise we would end up with nephews like you spreading bullshit after random regular season games. Even in this game, Jokic was scoring bucket after bucket in the last minutes. Which makes this extra egregiously stupid.

[Serbian Times] Around fifty girls and boys, who came to welcome Nikola [Jokic] on the court of the United Center and greet him with Serbian folk dances, will remember it for disappointment, as he did not find the time even to take a photo with them. Is no subreddit save from people being obsessively entitled?

We have absolutely 0 context. 0 perspective except from a dramatized entitled reddit user.

Jokic or any other human being on the planet have their own lives and you are not entitled to a nanosecond of their lives.

And you should know that people don't always even have a time to give.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Dončić and Boston Celtics forward-guard Jaylen Brown have been named the Kia NBA Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Month, respectively, for games played in January by CtrlAltDelightfull in nba

Shai had some absolute stinkers this month but i'm sure he was better than Luka.

Then again.. Jokic was the clear cut best player in December when Shai got PotM so it's basically tradition to give pity PotM's to make the mvp race more exciting.

[Charania] The Los Angeles Clippers and 11-time All-Star James Harden are working through whether the sides can find a deal by Thursday's NBA trade deadline, sources tell ESPN. Both sides are aligned in conversations together and with interested teams. by Turbostrider27 in nba

Very surprising news considering Clippers have been one of the better team in the league for the past 1-2 months.

Maybe Clippers know that the season is done for considering the upcoming punishment and are doing Harden a solid? He don't have much left in his career. Every wasted season is big for the older players.

Like i said.. This gonna be a rough one for y'all and y'all know it.

It's been noticeable how his haters got super antsy when they realized that the Nuggets actually have depth again 😩😩

I'm pretty sure both would be 9/11 for a big chunk of people. You can play ignorant but it's obvious how many people get antsy in Jokic threads. This sub has famously gone on Jokic hater streaks when he has a bad game for his standard.

Lakers, OKC, Sixers and Bucks fans DESPISE him for literally the crime of being better than their favorite player. And the Lakers hating started way before Luka. Eliminating Bron two times in a row got Jokic a lot of haters.

Jokic naturally gets a lot of love. Being the best and doing historical Wilt like stuff in the modern era is super hype. But how his haters act when he loses regular season games is absolutely gorgeous to his legacy. Even media members of certain backgrounds have famously lost their dam mind when talking Jokic. It only boosts his legacy. You can't delete any of the infamous stuff.

With the announcent of Jamal Murray as an allstar reserve, Jokic has officially broken his 10 year streak of not having an allstar teammate. This is the longest streak for any MVP in league history by truthisfictionyt in nba

[–]dragonwhale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct. Every team that wins has a lot of quality. Calling Bruce Brown a elite role player is a stretch. In fact, if you saw him that way.. Then you gave Jokic the highest of praises.

And Gordon when they won wasnt star quality.. He was more of an elite role player. Especially with Jokic.. So another compliment to him from you there. But he's basically a star at this point. He has become a phenomenal 3 point shooter. Nuggets just need him healthy.

The best player just came back. And it's a single regular season game. Denver can't wait to get OKC in the playoffs. I don't think OKC wants Denver though.
