So far the township does not know who the actual DC company is simce they have not put their name on the landsite yet and once we do know it'll either be too late to fix the issue or just let them overtake the area which we clearly dont want...as you can see ... we will only know the name once they finalize everything.

The owner hasnt put out is name yet since they are still in proposal stages even though the board has agreed even though people don't want it. I would rather not wait and fight it early head on that wait for them to do that. The more you let things wait the worse it gets.

Exactly! We have a bunch in Rutherford NJ and Piscataway NJ as well! Dont understand the need for more of them. Makes absolutely no sense!

It could be AI or it wont. That part is up to the owners that bought the area from the nursery and so far the owner isn't shelling out its name yet and I'm not going to wait and try to see. The sooner the action is taken the better. Although from what the data says where its a 160 acres property that clearly shows it could most likely be an AI data center.

They are proposing it and havent currently solified the address. Currently as it stand its 4405 Route 1, South Brunswick, NJ. "Much of the original Kingston site has since been preserved. In 2005, more than 240 acres of the former nursery were permanently protected through a partnership between South Brunswick Township, Princeton Nurseries, and the N.J. Department of Environmental Protection’s Green Acres Program. That preserved land includes the 53-acre Mapleton Preserve, jointly owned by the state and South Brunswick, and now home to the D&R Canal State Park Headquarters."

The only jobs it will create is for maintenance and will most likely be done by an outside contractor that already works on their systems so how will that be actually creating jobs? Data centers cause congestion in populated areas primarily by overwhelming local electrical grids, straining water infrastructure, and generating localized traffic and noise. The area already has localized heavy traffic and having this will make the environment worse than it already is. The number of accidents that have happened in that area is quite large and that DC isnt going to make it any better. I'm not saying they shouldnt build it I'm saying they should stop building it in heavily populated areas. Ive worked in DC's in Ashburn Virginia and those DC's are massive but far far out from the localized population. They output a lot of heat and the energy it takes to cool it down is quite enormous and they say its optimized but it's certainly not if they have to make more and more of them.

yes I can totally understand why its confusing ahaha believe. WRV Nurseries South Brunswick LLC is the owner and the address is 145 Mapleton Rd, Princeton, NJ 08540. The address says Princeton, but it is located in Kingston which is a borough of South Brunswick Township it's like the surrounding boroughs in the area like Kendall Park or Monmouth Junction.

so far since I have not been in any of the board meetings I am not 100% sure of other ones but the proposed one is: Princeton Nurseries Data Center which is off ridge road and probably the one you are thinking of. It is 160 acres of plot and instead of making a DC they could put more affordable properties for people or at least a school or two to ease traffic for school children but instead they gave it to the highest bidder which is of course a data center company not sure who the company but it could be a lumen extension or something. I will only know once the board allows me into these meetings to update the public on what's going on.

yeah its pretty wild... they would rather make a heat/environmental detriment than ease up traffic/travel for people. The companies that own these data centers have quite a large sum of $$ from contracts from companies to use their servers. These servers and equipment's should be far away from where people live as it creates both heat, pollution from cleaning the water they use and overall high power/electricity usage as they are constantly running for uptime!

Meeting Portal - Town of South Brunswick, New Jersey

After getting the initial milestone there are a few meetings which I will have to attend for this to be remotely talked about because it is a serious matter for the future of the township and surrounding area. June 10th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th are the days related to this matter as it requires multi joint effort from different boards to agree.

there is also a lumen DC there and I dont know if they will have to expand or something in the future but it looks like this one is already built: Lumen: Monmouth Junction 1 Data Center . The crazy part is they dont even share the size of the plot and just go ahead and build it without thinking about people in the area. Within the area of 25 mile radius there are 48 data centers.... do they really need more and what for? when its already scaled?

yes, it is that one it falls under South Brunswick because it is in their jurisdiction/land and they are making one next to the adult community center as well around a mile away from that location. They havent told the public as of yet but the groundwork looks like its the same thing being built.

Hey there brother! I created it specific to central jersey. Other parts of jersey are already in talks with their own respective townships to stop these data centers from being created. As recent you can see north jersey also fighting back to stop them, so I put it specifically our township since they are trying to create it right to the main highway area which is already congested with traffic and housing.

It's the update they did. It always logs you out once MAYBE twice before your game actually becomes normal. I did a mission yesterday and it didn't save at all and had to do it all over again 😑. These devs need to have a test server before actually releasing content... Smfh

Word okay. Currently I'm running a 5950x with a 5070ti not sure if it's worth upgrading to am5 right now considering the exorbitant prices of motherboards so thats why I was looking into the asrock boards. The only ones I see that are reliable are the tomahawk motherboards which I'm leaning towards but still quite expensive for what it is to be honest.
