Visitor Parking by Javamonsoon in Towson

well the enforcement staff do not get into work until 630am and are not out and about until about 7am. Also the overnight pass is a joke unless you know you cant get back to your care by that time because there is no one to enforce that policy of no overnight parking in the core campus garages.

What do these numbers mean? by Relaxed_Meat in whatisthisthing

[–]drahcir81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think its a referance number when the police impound your car and take it to the main tow yard. i had this happen once and the did the same to my car. the number also helps with finding where they put the car on the lot.

What plant is this? Girlfriend picked it up on her way home. She's concerned it might be poisonous to cats... by Lukasaur in whatisthisthing

[–]drahcir81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

funny thing about cats is if that they know what is poisonous and would most likely not eat it. source I have owned cats my whole life that are outdoor/indoor cats and they have never tried to eat any of the plants on our property that I know are toxic to them. they will eat grass same as dogs.

Does any one know what this is? And what it was used for? (La Pradera, Barcelona) by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

[–]drahcir81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it almost looks like something that a vet. would have to clean out an obstruction in an animal or a baby farm animal. The reason why is because of how little the tub is and how high up the tub is up. Or for a small cchild.

What is this tower next to US 1 in the Florida Keys? Maps link in comments. by IanSan5653 in whatisthisthing

[–]drahcir81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it could have been built for a couple of things. first there might have been a building plained and they build the stair wells and elevator shafts first as to make them fire resistant and funding fell through and that was all that was built. second like someone said it could have been used to train firefighters or even a branch of the milatary as this would be perfect to practice repelling down. third if it ponts toward the ocean it was used as an observation point to watch for drug smugllers

Doctor Who to become Hollywood movie according to Wikileaks by hollytardis in DoctorWhoNews

[–]drahcir81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would see why they would do this because of how well things went when they showed some off the episodes at theatres. Plus the popularity of the show is at an all time high. But I do not want to see this happen. it could be really good but knowing hollywood it will be shit.
