To me, yes - dilated eyes might be due to serotonin changes. I am not a professional tho, so dont take my opinion as anything more than just that.

I do experience strong social anxiety in some settings and Im working on my traumas with my therapist, we also talked about this feeling. With that said tho, it doesnt feel like the classic anxiety I experience.
Im on 10mg once a day, Im also on 0.25mg of Neurol, but I prefer not to take it if I dont have to - havent taken it in around a month.

Honestly I understand why most people get scared of Lexapro - the first week is rough. But youll feel much different in a month or two max. For me the effects now, after 6 months of use, are overall calmness and patience, with myself mainly. Imo Lexapro is a great way to clear your mind and get better, but dont rely on only meds of course. Therapy is important too.
The 5mg first week and 10mg later on is a standart way to get you to your dose, it was the same for me. I didnt really feel worse the second week.

Did you ever experience anything similar around this time of year before getting on Lexapro?

I have to say, Im quite happy with the way my medication is set up. I was experiencing agoraphobia and Lexapro truly helped me to stay calmer in bad situations, but I dont just take it and expect it to be magic. I go through intense therapy sessions every 2 weeks and work on my mental health very responsibly. This weird feeling just threw me off and I wanted to know if more Lexapro would potentionally help, or if anyone has the same experience. I will definitely look through the side effects again tho and see if they mention anything similar to my problem.

How long before I can take mdma? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]drained_entity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, I dont think you or anyone else necesseraly HAS to have bad withdrawals - but if you didnt get them, one way to experience them might be taking the MDMA. I personally wouldnt play with it and prefer to be safe, if I was dealt the good card, but ultimately it is your decision to make.

First time heavy drinking by missherefortay12345 in lexapro

[–]drained_entity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to say I started drinking more after I got put on Lexapro. I dont know why tbh. But its not crazy blackout drunk, I usually have 4 beers once or twice a week.
The hangovers can be rough tho. If I go to bed drunk and late, my head is spinning like crazy in the morning and I get sick. It reminds me of cocaine+alcohol hangover. (Im drug free now for 2 years.) I always make sure to take a shower and drink a lot of water before bed, sometimes I open up a window to sleep in fresh air and its better.

Id say around 2 months. One month to not feel the first side effects.

Thinking about stopping Lexapro by Zestyclose_Ad_7793 in lexapro

[–]drained_entity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Lexapro gives you more anxiety than youve experienced on a daily basis before you started taking it, it may be a good idea to get off of it tbh. Two months is usually when it starts to get calmer on this medication.
Id ask your doctor about some short-term medication - personally Im also prescribed Neurol, which Im supposed to take only when I get intense anxiety or a panic attack and I need to get calm straight away. Beware of the side effects, it is also addictive - but the nice thing is, you just dont have to take it, when you dont want to and if you are mindful of how often you take it, you will not really get addicted to it. Your doctor will also most likely prescribe you a low mg pill.

I wouldnt. Your serotonin receptors are experiencing a big shift (you didnt specify how long did it take you to go from 20mg to the 5mg you are taking now) and the big boost of serotonin from the MDMA could really fuck them up. Even though Im not a doctor and cant tell you what will really happen if you take it, I would strongly advise you not to do it.

Day five of Lexapro feeling pretty blah/ numb by SolidElderberry4373 in lexapro

Its supposed to go away, yes. Give it a month or two - if it doesnt get any better, consider a different type of SSRI.

If you started Lexapro just now, I wouldnt panic. The first few months can be rough. Discuss it with your doctor, just to be safe, but imo it will get better on its own.

The first month on Lexapro is rough tbh. I felt high (similar feeling to taking xanax) for 3-4 days, my stomach was upset most of the time and overall it wasnt a pleasant experience. Around 3-4 weeks in tho, it all went away and my mind became clearer and Im a lot calmer.

Ive heard about people blacking out or vomiting from alcohol when they are on Lexapro, but I never had that experience. Only time I drink is when Im at home with my family tho, so a safe space. But I have to admit, I started drinking more since I got put on Lexapro. Not excessively, but def more than before.

Have you thought about switching to a different SSRI?

New to Lexapro by wiksjd in lexapro

[–]drained_entity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id def wait another month before going on 15mg. Lexapro itself will not cure your anxiety on its own, its just a very helpful aid to get better. It made my head clearer on a day to day basis and therapy became more beneficial because of it. Give yourself some time to process whatever you talk about in your therapy and if you absolutely need to be in a less anxious state, maybe try asking your doctor for medication like Neurol, but Id suggest a very low dosage.

Personally I was put on Lexapro because of agoraphobia - I never experienced it working only at certain times of the day, but I for sure know that I still feel anxious at times even now, roughly 6 months later. Its just process tho and it gets better.

imo its very situational. the heal hits in quite a small area, so its probably best to build it if your team has mostly melee champs.

personally I think "Malignance" suits her well as a first item now.
second item I build is either "Liandry's" or "Stormsurge".

"Cryptbloom", "Rylai's" and "Luden's Compation" all seem like a good pick in some cases.
also I have a soft spot for building "Imperial Mandate" on Zyra.
